Have you got a new, untrained four-legged friend moving in with you? We've got a few tips:

💚PREP - Dogs are messy, mischievous and have accidents until toilet trained. We always put a training pad at the back door until our new family member learns to do his or her business outside

💙TODDLER - Keep your possessions and anything potentially dangerous out of your their reach. They will chew and play with anything they can get their paws on.

🧡ATTENTION - Dogs, like kids, needs lots of attention... constantly. Don't leave them for too long on their own, and get someone to 'babysit' when you're out for more than a couple of hours.

💜ACTIVE - keep your dog active, playing and taking them out for short walks twice a day.

Dogs have evolved to be very good at understanding humans. They can read our body language, facial gestures, and speech patterns to empathize with us. They even recognize certain words and vocal tones and associate them with playtime, walkies, or food!

When they tilt their heads, they are trying to filter out familiar words they understand.

Meet Flora! 🐶🐾

The smallest & cutest Rottweiler we have ever seen!! 😍

After she was abandoned by her owners when she was 5 years old, took her in.

Despite her being dumped by her family, Flora is such a sweet dog, and everyone just loved her at kennels! At first, she was a bit scared but soon was happy to greet everyone who came to meet her.

She's got the best waggy tail and loves to give slobbery kisses! 💚

Flora has now found her forever home thanks to the amazing crew at 🐶💜
