Wishing all the Bark Around The Block dogs, cats and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year! I have been so busy this year that I forgot to mark 10 years of my business. Yes 10 years! They say time flies when you are having fun and it really does. I would like to thank all my clients for their trust and appreciation of myself and Cheryl, even those clients that have moved away as you are always in my memories. Okay, this is a bit of a random post but do any of my regular minding doggos recognise their black lead? I remember being asked about a missing Black lead ages ago and couldn't find it. Then today when I moved an apron hanging up I found it! I have gone through my minding and phone messages for minding over the last 6 months and can't figure out whose it was. Any takers?

A bit thank you Merry and Pipins mum and dad for the lovely flowers they brought me for looking after Merry after his minor for surgery with a grass seed incident. Yes grass seed injury is real folks. Incidentally mum has come down with a foot injury too,... sympathy perhaps or just funny timing?

Happy 13th Miss Bella. She has been out to the fabulous off lead dog reserve in Balwyn with Jessie (running too fast to be in the photo) and now gets to share the rest of her birthday with Poppy, Olan and Mia. I think she is loving the company. Maybe some pup cakes later if I have time.

A few weeks ago at almost 17 my gorgeous Jess passed away. Just a few photos of her I put together in a frame for my brother. It was so lovely looking back at so many photos of her with her Bark Around The Block friends which she enjoyed so much and with her sister Mia (top right).

Myself and Cheryl have been walking 3 gorgeous Ridgebacks for a while now. About time they had a shout out and a pic online. These two lovelies are the sisters Zawadi and Zala. Their older household companion, also gorgeous is Azisa. Such lovely gentle souls, even though their size does cause alarm sometimes.

I am feeling super appreciated by my clients at the moment. The flowers from Isabella and Jinny whose folks are off traveling around Australia as soon as they can and the biscuits baked by Kami (well his mum) and given to me to keep my energy up on my walks. It's those lovely gestures of appreciation that make running a small business so worthwhile especially at the moment when things are even more tricky.
