Introducing our new Stud sire!!! Phil and Judy at The Cliffs have done an outstanding Job, and I struggled to pick only one! This fella has never seen the clippers, and at only 7 months is shedding beautifully and showing off that incredible body!
Looking forward to seeing his progeny!!!

SOLD!,
Sadly for us, it’s time to move ‘Booster’ on!
Booster is our resident Stud ram, bred by the Tattykeel Stud at Oberon.
Just over 2years old (27 months) he’s in his prime and ready to work!
We’re keeping his daughters and one of his sons in our stud, so time for someone else to make the most of his genetics.

A son of ‘trump junior’ (a ram so good Tattykeel
Kept him!), we purchased booster for his length, curves and presence! His full pedigree is available.

He’s also never been shorn and a clean shedder.
He’s thrown some beautiful lambs (pictured) and we’re sad to see him go.

Well I think we’ve found a good mix! The lambs out of our The Cliffs ewes and Tattykeel ‘BOOSTER’ are looking good! This girl caught my eye yesterday, not yet 5 months, long, shedding beaufully and look at those curves!

Stud Lambs are shaping up well, the oldest are 3 weeks old! These The Cliffs maidens are doing a great job, and it looks like the combo with Tattykeel Booster is producing the kind of shape we're looking for!

It's lambing time! The beautiful maiden ewes from The Cliffs Australian White Stud are lambing down to Tattykeel booster, and look to be producing some fantastic lambs! Pumped to see how they grow out!

Introducing our foundation Stud ewes from The Cliffs Australian White Stud. Phil and Judi Thompson have been so helpful and generous with their time and experience in setting up our little stud. It's been a pleasure to meet and buy from them!
Sired by Rams from Baringa, Gamadale, Ardess and The Cliffs, with plenty of Tattykeel and Redhill animals on their pedigrees, we're really excited to see what this batch of ewes will produce with Booster!

Introducing out Stud Sire, Tattykeel 'Booster' (this is just the 'injection' your flock needs 😉)! This 2020 stud ram is a son of Trump Junior out of a whole line of maternal twins. We love his balance, length, and curves and reckon he'll throw some cracking lambs!

We did a thing! Welcome to Yarabah Australian White Stud!
We've been so impressed by the Aussie Whites over the last few years, and combined with the fact that I'm a sucker for good genetics, it was inevitable that we'd take the plunge at some point!
We've kicked off our stud operation with what we think will be a winning combo. 21 absolutely cracking stud ewes from The Cliffs Australian White Stud, one of the Australian White foundation flock studs, and Booster, our Stud Tattykeel ram.
It's a new adventure, but we're still running our commercials, and thoroughly committed to our regenerative managment principles, so watch this space!

Managing the bulk feed this year has been tricky! But when you increase the stocking density (drop the cell sized down) the results are incredible! Works for long rough oxidised feed too!!

Here’s my summer pasture-cropping trial!
Rebound forage millet and cowpeas (with a couple of kgs of vetch I had left over!)
Sowed late November with my subsoil seeder into rough weedy ground. We’ll see how it goes!!

Being on the coast has it's benefits and disadvantages! Fattening stock(grain-free!) is always tricky in this high rainfall area, but because of the winter rain and cooler weather I managed to get some pasture-cropped oats in quite late and really filling that late winter feed gap for fattening wethers! Also notice in this one, Aussie whites in a tight cell and only 2 hotwires!

So, at home with COVID and time to catch up on some of the posts, I didn't make through the craziness of last year! This one's from August 11, showing the recovery on the pasture cropped oats, really did provide some wonderful winter feed!

We’ll today Tattykeel broke the Australian meat sheep record selling an Australin White ram for $165,000😬 We didn’t buy one today, but about 9 months ago we did buy this lovely Regisrered Tattykeel ram ‘Gandalf’! His lambs are 3/4 months now and looking great, really happy with what he’s bringing to our flock!
We are selling some young ram lambs this year, pm me if you’re interested!
