Being a pet carer for over 25 years I've found that more and more people are adopting their beautiful companions from rescue organisations. Sometimes it may take a while for a pup to acclimatise to their new surrounds particuly if they were treated badly in the past. But with lots of special quality time, love and attention they become best buds.

We all love fireworks but our pets do not. 🐶 🐱
On New Years Eve (Sunday) there will be fireworks in Noosaville.
(9pm at The Boathouse and 10pm at the Marina)
✅ Where possible keep your pets INSIDE your home.
✅ Give them a safe place to hide: a comfortable room or crate in your house.
✅ Use ambient noise to mask the noise.

I met this beautiful six week Kelpie Dachshund cross while at the supermarket. It's recommended to introduce puppies to new environoments and socialising from an early age. He won't be able to mix with other dogs until he's had all his shots and will be well and truly ready for it when he does.

When you’re four months old and finished your breakfast and your sister takes forever to finish hers it’s nerve-wracking while you wait, hoping she will leave you a morsel. No such luck today or any other day so far. But I will keep trying and hope for the best.

Arrow and I met this adorable puppy with his human mum and dad when walking. When a one-year-old puppy meets a twelve-year-old dog, boundaries must be set around playtime. With Arrow's coaching, it didn't take long for the puppy to catch on what was permissible and what wasn't.
