Can you help us help Sollie - we know this lady can do really well in a home but the shelter environment is not ideal for her so she is unable to shine....
She has been with us for way to long and needs someone kind enough to take the chance on her - the only issue is she really is not good with other cats - so we need that special someone who is currently catless....
Sollie is a foster to adopt - this means we want to give her a good 3 months in a home to see her settle in - if for some reason she doesn't - you can return her with a full refund - but we are sure she will be totally fine...
Originally discovered prowling around Freshline Meat Wholesales, Sollie's quest for a free meal led her to us at Just Cats.
Sollie has been at Just Cats for 7 months - in foster care for some time and now searching for the love of her life to take her home and spoil her rotten.
Sollie adores human companionship and will turn on her magnificent purr for pats, but asks to keep her paws firmly planted on the ground whilst she does so. She has a very playful spirit and loves chasing anything she can, particularly wand toys.
Transitioning to a new home may take time for Sollie, but she's seeking a patient companion to share in her journey. As a cat who prefers to reign solo, Sollie dreams of a cat-free, indoor paradise without the hustle and bustle of small children. If you think you have the purrfect place for Miss Sollie come and meet her at our Longford Centre.
Very unwell cat found in Youngtown area.

We are preparing ourselves for a super busy kitten season that sadly is already upon us. So with that in mind we need to recruit more foster carers.
Our foster carers do an amazing job caring for kittens so that they do not have to be sitting in the shelter environment and without them there’s no way we can help out as many kittens as we currently do during the crazy season (which feels like it didn’t end)
Foster carers only just need to give up a little bit of space in their home, a little bit of love from their heart and a little bit of time from their clocks - We supply food and any medical needs.
Why not become part of our team in a really large way and help be part of our kittens lives by changing their futures in a positive way.
We need you - call us on 63889202 or fill out the foster care application form

Troy has now been in our care for 7 weeks, he arrived as a surrender and it has taken him sometime to get use to his new environment, as much as we try to make our shelter homely - it really just is not home for these guys!
Troy is not a fan of loud noises or busy surrounds, he loves the quiet life and maybe the simple life. This boy can be very affectionate with his people especially once he feels comfortable, we feel a foster to adopt home would be super ideal, we just want him to have longer to settle in so 3 months not 3 weeks before we know for certain that he is happy. Troy would much prefer a home without young children, a nice quiet one is his ideal home and he is FIV positive so needs a home without other cats.
Come and meet this sweet boy at our Longford Centre tomorrow between 11am-2pm
Frankie - arriving into our care as an urgent critical care cat who had a urinary blockage this boy has now done extremely well and is ready and willing to start his new journey in a new home..
Frankie is a very social and affectionate cat but will require the right home to successfully overcome his medical needs..
Stress was his big factor so we need to make sure you tick all the boxes for Frankie....
1. no children under 15 years of age
2. no other cats
3. dogs are ok as long as they are ok with him
4. a quiet home with someone around more than not
5. a lap to sit on, cuddles on demands and loves to be fed extra lol
6. indoors only
7. stability
8. good diet of urinary care (we will supply to start with)
9. love
10. YOU!
His adoption is via application and via appointment - please call us on 63889202 if you can be part of his positive future

How is Selina still here?
This beautiful young lady is busting to find her humans, she’s shows off all day, plays all day and loves any attention you have to offer.
She’s proven to be very interested in the dogs so we think she would do well, best without other cats though!
Please come and visit our Beautiful Selina this weekend, we are open tomorrow 11am-3pm

Hey beautiful people of Launceston
We need your help again - we are looking for along term foster!
Lady is being returned from foster again - not because they don’t love her or that they don’t want to care for her but because she’s keeping them awake with her constant calling.
There’s only a limited amount of lack of sleep that one can tolerate.
Lady is an elderly cat of about 17-19 years of age, she’s deaf and blind and therefore at times of uncertainty she yells and she yells loudly.
This is all very understandable at her age and under her circumstances.
Of course we do have the option to consider that it might time to allow her to cross the rainbow bridge but we just want to see if we could possibly try again to find her a home to live in.
Thinking the best home might be someone who is also hard of hearing
🤷♀️
We also need a home without other cats as she’s not a fan.
Our window of opportunity is totally limited and we understand that
But let’s just try and see if there is someone out there that would suit her needs
If you know sonn my some that lady could live with who she won’t bother please pass on this post to them and call us on 63889202 if you can help
Lady is otherwise well - health wise xx
Buddy is here to remind you that the Longford Adoption Centre is open tomorrow from 11 till 3pm

Happy Sunday everyone I’m back from my quick trip away and so happy to get a video of Choc Top. She’s done amazingly well and is now a thriving happy bundle of joy. She still will need her eye removed once she’s bigger but until then she can continue having fun being a kitten ### Thanks again for all your support in helping us help them ###
Tonight’s feature kitty is little Choc Top She arrived into our care yesterday. This little girl is roughly 3-4 weeks of age but only weights 175g the weight of a 10 day old kitten. Choc Top is unable to see or breath properly due to cat flu, extremely underweight and unable to stand up for herself for to long. We are not sure she’ll get through this but of course we are doing our best to care for her around the clock. Regardless of her survival chances she’s safe, warm and loved. Crossing our fingers for Choc Top Please keep donating so we can keep helping the less fortunate felines in Tassie With Card payments or PayPal https://donation.giveeasy.org/just-cats-tasmania Or via bank payments - Westpac Just cats Bsb 037608 Act 579574 “Choc Top”
Three legged 8 year old Agna really needs a home Can you help her find that special someone 161 days in the shelter - she deserves a home
Time for our Maxwell update but firstly I wanted to thank you personally for all the amazing Birthday wishes and to thank you for donating - Just over the weekend we raised $5760.00 - Pretty impressive. We will keep raising money to help us get our vet clinic up and running. Maxwell has been great while staying in Hobart, the team at The Cat Clinic Hobart Love him as much as we do - and he is loving them too but I personally miss him terribly. In the meantime I’ve had two other critical cases to keep me busy 😂 Chaplin a long termer (normally in Foster) was unwell for a few days but seems to be feeling better and Ezra who is still not 100% but I’m feeling hopeful. I love having the in my care - they are all adorable cats who deserve our full attention. Here is Maxwell sharing his love And if you feel you can donate towards our clinic please don’t hesitate to do so With Card payments or PayPal https://donation.giveeasy.org/just-cats-tasmania Or via bank payments - Westpac Just cats Bsb 037608 Act 579574
So thankful that this amazing clinic is open - and right on time. Meet Simba - this gorgeous boy is in a bad way and we still can’t work out why. He has now checked in at the new after hours emergency clinic right here in Launceston after having a feeding tube inserted by the fabulous team at Pets life Great team work to try and save the life of this beautiful boy https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550113137522&mibextid=LQQJ4d
Are you looking for a lap cat? Ally Cat is the cat for you! We moved her into a room and she’s absolutely loving it, she smothers everyone in love and if you take a seat she will join you and purr all day long Come and see this special girl at our Longford Centre between 11am-3pm today
To our beautiful supporters we wanted to tell you Maxwell is doing well This is the photo and video the wonderful staff at The Cat Clinic Hobart sent us Such a beautiful boy and I miss him so much. Staying another night in hospital
Your Sunday Maxwell update ###x This boy just amazing us - he has the best temperament, he is so patient and just accepts what we need to do for him. Most of us would complain about our injuries - Maxwell - he just takes it all in his stride and goes about his day like there’s no worries in the world. Another shout out to thank everyone of you who have continued to donate towards Maxwells care - it’s really appreciated, especially knowing it’s a long term healing process. Maxwell has his dressings and bandages changed every couple of days - it’s a big procedure for him and for us because we need to make sure we sedate him enough to not feel any pain during the process. (And much easier with him not moving around 😂) It also takes up precious time in our clinic when there are so many cats waiting to see our vet each day. But then again, time with Maxwell is never waisted 🐈⬛ Maxwell has upgraded into one of our boarding pens to allow him more space to enjoy his days - with a bonus window to watch the world from. Sundays will continue to be the Maxwell update story If you are not familiar with this champion feel free to type his name in the search bar and read his story. Maxwell makes us proud ❤️
Many people assume we are government funded but the reality is we are not - in fact we survive purely on donations. Our retail sales and boarding facility allow us to bring in cash flow to pay trained staff, however all your donations go straight towards each cat that requires our care - food, litter and vet treatment. We also know most people think they need to donate a large amount and perhaps cannot afford it but that’s actually not true - it comes back to that old saying of the power of one, more hands make light work - more people donating creates a large figure. Just $5 a week will add up to $20 a month and in turn that’s $240 a year It’s not a huge amount for you to commit to -it’s less than the price of one coffee a week but it makes a difference to us. If just 10 of our supporters did this that’s $200 a month $2400 a year If 20 people joined in that’s $400 a month or $4800 a year Imagine if 100 of you decided to do this? That’s $2000 a month or $24,000 a year With over 20 thousand people following our page the possibility is endless - $1 a week from 20,000 people - mind blowing what we could do with that amount. You can see how this all adds up to make a huge impact on what we can do to save more cats. There are times just one rescue will cost us over $1500 - $9000 to save that one cat - we want to be here for those cats who would otherwise not make it. You can be there for those cats too by donating on a regular basis You can set this up on PayPal or via your internet banking - it’s all tax deductible too which is a benefit for you at tax time. You can stop and start when ever you need to. Please consider joining our regular financial supporters and help us make a Brighter future for those felines less fortunate To set this up - or to donate as a one off donation here are your options With Card payments https://donation.giveeasy.org/just-cats-tasmania For PayPal - [email protected] Or via bank payme

Ben is a 7 year old boy with an amazing personality, he is so smoochy and loving that we cant even get a good photo of him, he just keeps doing the figure 8 around our legs..... Ben will require a Scale and Clean which Just Cats will do on the house - other than that he presents well and healthy... Ben sadly was surrendered as his owner entered an age care facility, he was well loved and well looked after... He has been an indoor and outdoor cat and since living at Just Cats inside he seems content to soak up the suns rays each morning on the window sill... This boy will seriously make a great companion for someone who adores cats that show lots of love… If you’d like to meet him while he is at our Mowbray facility please call us on 63889202
