2 Carpet pythons in chicken coop ππ These chickens got super lucky! A night unchecked in here would have been 2 bulging snakes come morning time and -2 chickens so good timing for the chooks. This is the time of year of the pythons in chicken coops so make sure if you have chooks your enclosures are snake proof.

Carpet python on a fan π Yes you heard correctly! This cheeky little fella had decided that this was the best spot to chill for the day. With swelteringly hot days snakes need a place to keep cool and also get a bit of warmth as well. Itβs always a balance for snakes π

Carpet python snoozing on trampoline π΄π Well yesterday arvo was a first for me. I was called out to a home in Tinbeerwah to relocate a Carpet python which was sleeping on the trampoline! The little girl had been jumping on the trampoline and then saw it! This was a first for me I had a blast. Enjoy everyone π

Catch with a view π This beautiful gravid (pregnant) Carpet python I relocated from a resort in Sunshine beach. Another couple of week I reckon she would have laid those eggs under the pool concrete facing the east. Perfect spot if it wasnβt in the middle of a resort. Sheβll find a nice log hollow along the coast to lay her eggs. Good luck little darling ππ

Mumma Carpet python on eggs π₯π As breeding season winds down weβre getting into what we call the Christmas lull. The boy snakes are getting something to eat and the females are going down to have their babies. This female Carpet python had chosen this pool area garden as its spot for her clutch of eggs. With dogs and people constantly in that area itβs not the best spot for this girl and her eggs to be. Once disturbed she abandons the eggs. So sheβs in the bush now and can go get something to eat and the eggs are in the incubator. Early January Iβm expecting these eggs to hatch. Once they do Iβll take them back out to Lake McDonald πππ enjoy everyone π
