🤍 I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and in particular, my Pet Goodbyes family. Thank you, I know I'm not alone ✨️
💔 It's not my first rodeo, but it's especially raw this time round for both me and my husband.
🐕 She was one super-special doggo, bestie, de-briefer, mental health guru, personal trainer, healer, furry pillow.
🌈 It hurts like a b*tch. We miss you, girlfriend.

🌸 I didn't realise what day it was until I spotted the very first Camellia bloom, on top of my Wooki's grave. 💔 On this very day, 14 years ago, we said Goodbye to our first beautiful Boxer babe, Wooki.
🕊 So if you find a pink Camellia in your pet's Goodbye posy, or a few Camellia petals in your Goodbye pet package, think of it as a gift from the 'Wookster'... ✨️

✌️There are two days in February that I consider special. The 6th day when my mother gave birth to her ninth child (me!), and the 14th day when my mum brought her first child into the world, my eldest sister, Anna...

🌈When Annie passed away suddenly in December 2018, she left a deep sadness within our hearts. Annie was our matriarch after our mum left this earth. I miss them both. Every. Single. Day...

🪙You may think it strange, that in my wallet, I always carry a 1c piece (remember those?!). Annie gifted me this particular coin because it was from the year of my birth. In fact, she gave every member of my family coins she'd collected from their year of birth. How special is that?

💘On the 14th of February, I'll be raising a glass to my sister, Annie🥂. Not to some dude with wings and an arrow, named Valentine 😉

🎄 It's time for my annual Christmas pilgrimage to Little Poland 🇵🇱 (aka Penrith) to spend precious time with my family.

Keeping their collar or name tag?
🐾 I said Goodbye to my first Boxer girl Wooki over 12 years ago (yes, it was me who gave her wings 🪽).
🐕 Her Lupine collar is still used by my current Boxer, Indi.
🦴And Wooki's name tag? Well, I keep it attached to my car keys, so she comes with me on EVERY Goodbye visit 💕

⚠️Warning: Flood / Burial trigger.
🌧 It's almost a year since the most devastating floods in memory hit our region, and I can't help but think of all the Pet Goodbyes that were done in the lead up to that nightmare.
🌈 The little souls that were freshly layed to rest in backyards and properties... The precious urns that might have been lost.
😥 One family mentioned their 4 year old child was worried that her recently interred doggy-friend would drown, as she was being evacuated by boat.
🪦 Usual advice for home or farm burials after euthanasia, includes avoiding flood prone areas or proximity to waterways. Well, so much for that...
🐾 I chose to post this, because it's been 12 months since I helped another lovely family say Goodbye to their adored cavoodle, Fudge. I stumbled across a photo in my gallery, of her final resting place that they sent me soon after my visit - a beautiful cairn of bushrock, encircled by solar lights. SO pretty 💖
🥀 Unfortunately, their property and home was inundated like so many others, and a tidy up of Fudgie's burial site will be on their VERY long 'to do' list...

Christmas can be tinged with sadness, especially if a special someone is no longer by your side 😪.
So I'm NOT going to wish everyone a very merry Christmas with lots of presents 🎁, I just hope you feel 'their presence'....
And smile 😌.
I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I do and thank you all for your continued support for my Pet Goodbyes through the last crazy year of floods 💦, CoVid waves 😷, my family bereavements🌈, through 'sickness and in health'.
May 2023 be kinder to us all.. 🥂🤞

One year ago today, I helped the sweetest little Maltese x shih tzu, 17 year old Kelvin, transition to 'the other side'🌈. In that 12 months, his devoted 'mum' Desiree, who is the embodiment of all things spiritual, took a leap of faith, to begin her own mobile dog grooming service🐕✂️. In honour of her little man Kelvin, she called her business Crystal Paws🐾💎🐾.
I'm sure he would approve..

Pet Goodbyes services will not be available from Mon 21st - Thur 24th Nov, due to the passing of my brother, Stan....

🐈He was a fan of felines (like me), bit of a home-body (like me), a gifted artist (UNlike me), loved by his baby sister (me).

🏥Stan was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) 4 years ago at the age of 59. He had a rollercoaster ride since then, with some serious chemotherapy along the way, but supported by his dedicated wife Tess and my wonderful family in Sydney.

🥟I'll miss you bro', and in your memory, I'll keep using the onion POWDER in my *pierogi, instead of REAL onions 🧅.
