Saving Animals Matters is a self-funded, not-for-profit rescue charity based in Western Australia. We strive to provide a second

chance for animals who find themselves in the situation of being surrendered, homeless, neglected or abused. Our rescue charity operates by utilising a foster care system, meaning each animal enjoys a loving, stable family environment until they find their forever home. This foster process allows us to get to know every animal in our care, their unique personality, background, as well as their individual physical and emotional needs. Here at Saving Animals Matters, we pride ourselves on matching each individual animal to the most suitable and compatible home. It is through this thorough process that we can give both the rescued animals and their new human companions the best chance at a happy and fulfilling life together. We are fortunate enough to have the support of dedicated volunteers, however are always seeking new members to join our friendly team. Fostering is both a generous and rewarding experience and we appreciate each one of our carers. 🌱🐛 MAXIMUS 🐛🌱

Hi, my name’s Maximus & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless, at a local pound. Thankfully the rescue found a wonderful carer who was able to take me in.

A spirited, heroic, brave, ambitious & courageous kitten with an eagerness to engage in all things fun, exciting and intriguing. My favourite thing to do is engage in exploration & conquering quests with my sister, making it our… actually MY, personal mission to investigate every nook 'n' cranny of ANY and EVERY space. Depending on my mood, I may choose to pilfer items of interest on these adventures, which are then collated and stashed for safe keeping.... Becos’ you never know when an odd sock, leaf or a bit of string will come in handy.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I’d to best in a home who is able to provide me with plenty of attention. Cats? While I do enjoy the company of other kitties, I'm not solely dependent on their company. So what does this mean? It means I'll adapt well to a home with another kittie or too, but will also do just fine in a home without them. Dogs? Great.... however slow and considered introductions is key! Children? I’m great with children, however would prefer a home without youngsters (ages 3+).

Looking for a kitty who’s sweeter than sugar and sprinkles joy wherever he goes? Well, here I am! My name’s Sprinkles and I was once a lonely boy at the pound until the rescue scooped me up and found me a safe foster home. Now I’m ready to sprinkle love into my forever family’s life!

So, what makes me special? Let me put it this way: I. LOVE. PEOPLE 💕 Some kitties play hard to get… not me! I’m what you call a certified smoocher. That means lap snuggles, arm snuggles, shoulder snuggle…..basically, if there’s a spare human limb, I’ll be right there making it my favorite spot. If you try to ignore me? Well, I’ll sprinkle a little charm your way until you cave. Trust me, resistance is futile 😻

Now, let’s talk about my dream home:
🐾 Other cats? Yes please! I’d love a feline buddy or two but I’d also be just fine as your one and only smooch king.
🐾 Dogs? I’ve met a few from the safety of my carrier and stayed cool as a cucumber. With a calm, polite dog, I could totally adjust.
🐾 Kids? I’m great with them, though I’d prefer slightly older ones (ages 5+) so I don’t have to worry about tiny hands pulling my whiskers.

Basically, if you’re looking for a companion kitty who will fill your days with cuddles, charm and plenty of Sprinkle sparkle, then I’m your prince ✨💖

Get your tissues ready 🤧 and find out more about sweet soul Peri Peri below 👇

Some kitties arrive ready to charm the world straight away. Others, like me, need someone to look past the shyness and see the little soul who’s been waiting all along for love.

My name is Peri Peri and my story began in a place where love was scarce. I was trapped with many other frightened kitties and ended up in a pound, where my future was uncertain. Most people would have passed me by, but the rescue saw something in me, there was a spark worth saving.

When I first came into care, I was terrified. I hissed, I spat and I wanted the world to leave me alone. But slowly with gentle hands and endless patience, my foster carer showed me that kindness exists. And little by little, my walls have started to crumble. Today, I enjoy pats, I allow snuggles (on my terms) and I’m learning that human affection isn’t something to fear, it’s something to treasure.

I may not be the boldest or the bravest yet but I am soft, sweet and so eager to keep blossoming. What I need is a home where someone sees my potential, where patience and love are given freely and where my progress, no matter how small is celebrated.

I adore other cats and would thrive with a confident feline friend to guide me and I can even share my home with gentle dogs. I’d prefer a calmer home without very young children but older, kind kids would be better for me.

💛 I’m not the “easy” choice. But I promise I will be one of the most rewarding ones. If you open your heart to me, I’ll keep growing, keep trusting and one day I’ll be the cat who makes you so proud you gave me a chance. 💛

Meet Raven, a stunning girl with a story of survival and a heart full of love. She came into care after being found homeless at a pound with several other cats, but thanks to the rescue, she’s been given a second chance.

Raven has blossomed in foster care into a sweet and affectionate young lady. She’s the perfect mix of calm and cuddly; spending her afternoons birdwatching from the window, then curling up on a warm lap in the evenings. Once she trusts you, get ready… she’ll smother you with so much love that you’ll either adore it or laugh at just how clingy she can be.

Raven is looking for a forever home where she can truly settle. She can live with other cats and even dogs, as long as introductions are done slowly. While she’s gentle and affectionate, she’d be happiest in a home without very young children.

Some of our beautiful adult cats have been patiently waiting for their forever homes but for reasons we can’t quite understand, they keep being overlooked. 🐾

They may not be tiny kittens anymore but that just means their personalities are already shining through. They’re gentle, loving, quirky, playful and snuggly… each one with so much love to give. 💕

Adopting an adult cat often means no surprises after the settling in period; you know who they are, what they love and just how special they’ll be in your life. ✨

Beautiful boy Levi is STILL waiting for a home to call his own. We just don’t get HOW he has been waiting this long and why he hasn’t struck luck on the home front.

Lovely Levi has been at the rescue for way too long now waiting for that forever love ❤️ He came to us at only 12 weeks old….now…at over 1 year old, he’s still waiting for “the one”. Levi’s sister spirit found her happily ever after so long ago and he’s still stuck swiping left on love.

We’re not saying he’s unlucky in love… but if Levi had a dating profile it’d be full of adorable pics, a love for snuggles and a serious mango addiction…. somehow, he’s still single🥲

✨Loves long walks, kibble lit dinners, and late night pillow snuggles.
✨Hobbies include collecting squeaky toys, dominating at tug-of-war and third wheeling Billie the cat.
✨Has excellent manners—he can sit, shake, and patiently wait for your signal. Talk about a true gentleman!
✨Dream date? You, him and an “all you can eat” mango buffet.

Levi isn’t just looking for a home, he’s looking for his person. Someone who will finally say 👉 “It’s a match!” and never look back.

💗 FREE STERILISATION OF MOTHER CATS- PLEASE READ BELOW 💗

We understand that times can be challenging, and not everyone is in a financial position to have their pet sterIlised — but we’re here to help.

At Saving Animals Matters, we offer support for unplanned litters by assisting with the rehoming of puppies or kittens. When a litter is surrendered, we provide FREE desexing for the mother to help prevent future unplanned pregnancies.

Every animal in our care is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea-treated, wormed, and vet-checked before being adopted into their forever home. The mother’s free sterilisation procedure is performed by one of our participating veterinarians.

As a foster care–based rescue, all of our animals live in loving family homes rather than a shelter facility.

💗 Free desexing of female dogs and cats if they currently have /or are about to have a litter.
💗All puppies/kittens within the litter must be surrendered to the rescue to be eligible.
