My very good friend Archie. I see him every 2 weeks for a good scrub.

It’s that time of the year again, with the weather warming up nicely and Xmas fast approaching. The only thing I loathe about this season every year is the hay fever, but otherwise I’m loving it. Needless to say, I’m fully booked and can accomodate casual and new customers only if I have cancellations. Ziggy’s first experience with just a wash and tidy. He’s got that school boy innocence look on him.
Winter is well and truly upon us. I have several spots available this month in case anyone interested to book in. And do you know what? It’s 24 weeks to Xmas! I’m starting to get customers requesting to book right through to end of the year to secure their spots.

Brother and sister Ollie and Evie. Mum texted me the day after saying Ollie has become naughtier after the groom….so I said I changed his battery to Duracell during the groom lol. He’s sure an energetic fella, but very good to groom despite it being his first time. Evie is also very chill, being 3 months older (from same dad, different mum).

Did you know dogs don’t sweat through their skin like humans do? Dogs sweat through their paws, and to cool themselves down, they pant.

It feels unusually hot for autumn, we will still be getting low 30 degree days this coming long Easter weekend.

Although her tongue is sticking out, Sasha the Bichon isn’t hot, she is just ready to go home.

My next available appointment is about 9th May onwards, except if I have cancellations. Please contact me on 0491149560 to check on availabilities.

Since Easter is coming up, just a reminder, chocolates are NOT good for dogs and can be fatal.

A dog walks into a bar and said to the bartender, “it’s my birthday today, give me a free drink”. The bartender said to the dog, “sure, go right through that door, the toilet is right at the back”.

We survived summer, and it’s officially autumn. But it sure still feels like summer. We still have temps in the mid 30s this month….autumn? go figure.

Never in my 9 years of dog grooming have I experienced this. Excruciating. Arrived at a house last Thursday, after 5 mins of setting up, went to the front door to get dog. The lady customer said, “oh, I need to move my car”. I had to pack up and reverse my trailer to allow her to reverse her car to go to the shops. After she left, I setup again and went about with washing the dog. By the time I finish, the customer was already back home. I returned the dog back to her and to my astonishment she refused to pay for my service! To add insult to injury, she said can you push bins out, it’s rubbish day tomorrow. “For crying out loud, what am I your butler?” I exclaimed. No, you’re my husband and if you want to have your dinner, go do it quickly and have your shower first. Yes darling I said and did as I was told. As they say, happy wife, happy life.

Xmas is just over a week away. Hope everyone is ready, done your shopping, xmas tree up, presents wrapped, etc. I know I’m not ready. Just letting everyone know my next availability is mid February 2024. I can be contacted on 0491149560 or send me a message on my page. To all those who have been contacting me but I’m not able to provide any service during this time, my sincere apologies. Especially to all new dog owners, please don’t be disheartened. Once you are able to get in touch with a groomer and get an appointment, my advise is to book in advance future appointments so your dog’s groom will never be missed. Good luck.
