Happy 1st Birthday to you, my little Jake Chi. Enjoy your birthday month with lots of celebrations just for you 🤩

You burst into my world full of energy, life, and so much love — a bundle of pure joy with the sweetest heart. You’ve grown so quickly, learning every day, loving your home, and snuggling in like it’s your superpower. The intense teething faze was something that I had not encountered to this extent, so you were affectionately known as “baby shark” for a short while 🤣

You love your daily walks, your lake, play dates, and making friends with every dog and person you meet. Your kindness and playfulness make the world brighter for everyone you touch. You are blessed with friends, family and love your Billys Daycare for Dogs so much 💙

Jake, thank you for this special year. You brought laughter and comfort into my quiet moments. You reminded me that love continues forever, that joy will always grace us, and that life is beautiful 🩵

Thank you for being my friend and companion, my cuddle bug, my daily reminder to live in the moment. I’m so blessed to care and walk beside you ☀️

Looking through the years for August, I feel love, warmth and remember all our many Winter adventures. We were so blessed to be able to get out and about every single day, we always find the sun ☀️

Thank you Jack for all of our fun times together, every second counted, every second mattered. I’m grateful that our bond is eternal and our connection continues 💙

My Jack 💙 Celebrating your beautiful life.

One year ago today, August 16, with your perfect body cradled in my arms, you transitioned. I was blindsided by the suddenness, the shock, and the ache of not knowing why it had to happen that way. 🌈

Thank you for the endless joy, energy, guidance, and unconditional love you gave — and continue to give. I miss your physical presence more than words can say, but I remain deeply grateful to love and honour you in all that I do. The world is a more beautiful place because you lived. ☀️

Jack, every time I think or say your name, it reminds me that your spirit is forever woven into the fabric of my heart. Your name holds the power of our memories, our love, and the bond we still share. I’ve come to understand that true healing means welcoming those memories — even when they hurt. My memory loves you, it asks about you all the time. I speak your name and share your legacy always with a smile. I celebrate your beautiful life and keep your spirit alive in my story. ⭐️

June brings us Winter and I love that we always go out for our walks, every single day, bar none did we miss; we always find the sun ☀️ Lots of pictures of Jack with his favourites, in his element, loving life.

Jack, you walk with me, soul to soul. The love we share is bigger than a lifetime, it stretches beyond the stars. We’re not just making memories we’re preserving them and these memories will be the way Home.

Today is World Pet Memorial Day and I honour my Jack, Jake and Jellie. They all bring so much joy, fun, and unconditional love into my life. I am forever grateful for all the gifts they share with me and I’m forever blessed to have them close. I also just received my beautiful new book on pet loss and grief which I’m so appreciative.
Beth Bigler’s new book “Honoring Our Animals” has 365 meditations and is a lovely read, lots of rituals and ideas to continue our connection and celebrate every day. Jake and I sat in the sun together and enjoyed it on the weekend 🧡 Thank you, Jack, Jake and Jellie 🫶🏻.

May brought many wonderful moments, our walks, travels and all our time spent with each other. And even as the weather turns mild, we always find the sun ☀️

April was beautiful and wonderful, cooler weather and Easter month. Love these photo memories so much 🫶🏻
For me, keeping my Jacks memory alive nurtures our forever connection and is how I am able to move forward, not on. Jacks love isn’t just a memory-it’s a force that continues to guides me. It’s about honoring a bond that cannot be broken, a love that still impacts every part of who I am today. This journey is about moving forward while keeping the love we shared alive. Our love didn’t end when Jack left this earth. It transformed, it evolved, and it continues to be just as much a part of me as when he was physically by my side, still very much alive in my heart. I’m bringing you forward with me. Always and forever ⭐️
