***A SPECIAL DAY FOR LOLA***
The lovely Lola is 18 years old today so let's wish this beautiful lady a very Happy Birthday. She is such a delight, she loves to play chase with me each day, she's cheeky, and she has won so many hearts here, including mine. There are lots of cuddles and fun times ahead gorgeous girl. 😻😻😽😽💕💕💕

Lilly: I'm waiting for Christine to take me to the outdoor enclosure.....I love going there each day......but she says I need to stay cosy inside because it's too cold and windy. Looks like lots of cuddles will be best.....and maybe some snacks served in bed?

Polly, my sweet little friend with the most expressive eyes, is going home tomorrow after a long holiday at Gilbert Cottage. She has won quite a few hearts here, one being mine, and another belongs to Rufus, her number one playmate. We'll miss you and hope to welcome you back here some day.

The winter months can be challenging for our senior fur babies, and lovely Lola is no exception. I have transformed what is usually the Christmas basket, into a soft and cosy portable bed, I can carry her around the house with me as she snuggles under the covers. She has so many beds here, but this has become her choice for a 'day bed'. 😽😽💕💕💕

**A SAD FAREWELL TO CHOCKY**
I'm so sad to say that beautiful Chocky passed away yesterday, she was 16. She had recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and Lyn and Paul made sure that everything possible could be done to keep Chocky comfortable at home during her final days.....precious days that were filled with love.
Our hearts go out to you both, and I will miss having your gorgeous girl at Gilbert Cottage, we had such a special bond.
Darling Chocky, your Mumma and Dad gave you a wonderful life and I loved knowing you, we are all so sad to say goodbye.
Rest gently sweet girl, you were, and always will be loved.
