Bullarahki Bull Terriers We are a small kennel based on the southside of Brisbane, we aim to produce dogs that are healthy, true to type and have sound temperaments.

We only breed when we need to continue our passion in the show ring therefore litters only come around once, maybe

Ow I have had this my drafts for so long

Unfortunately the time has come for us to find our big beautiful boy Bark a couch to be somebody else's love bug.

He is an amazingly gentle giant who only knows his size and strength when stubbornness is required. He is a complete lounge lizard who will lap up all your cuddles all day long. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He loves a bath, a road trip, the Beach the park, anywhere that will bring him new smells and an adventure.

We want a home for him where he can be a mostly inside dog and spend all his time with you. But be warned when he gets lonely he will take his determination to a new level and take him himself in a trip for some love.

He will be desexed before leaving us, he is free from parasites with flea, tick and worm treatments done regularly. He is microchipped, registered with dogs Australia and vaccinated. He is $1000.

ONLY DOG SHOW PEOPLE NEED READ THIS BECAUSE THEY ARE PROBABLY THE ONLY ONES WHO WOULD FIND IT SLIGHTLY AMUSING - LOVE IT!

Dog Show people usually have crates in their living rooms.
They keep messy houses, but their kennels are spotless.

And they have kids who know more about the birds and the bees when they are five than most people know at 40.

Dog Show people will drive 200 miles, spend $300 on gas and $50 on meals to bring home a 25c rosette.

Dog Show people drive vans. They can never be reached on weekends, unless you happen to be at the same show. They have trouble getting to work on time but can be at ringside by 7:00 am.

Dog show people will give up a $300,000 home to move to a shack on 10 acres so they can have a $300,000 dog kennel.

Dog Show people have children who grow up believing 'Bitch' is just another household word.

Dog show people may pay the mortgage 10 days late BUT never miss a closing date for entries.

Dog show people would rather be audited by the IRS than investigated by the KC.

Dog show people use dog food bags for rubbish and rubbish bins for dog food.

Dog show people talk on the phone for hours to another dog person in a language known only to dog people!

BREAKING NEWS
Veterinarians at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center in the USA think they have worked out the reason why grapes are toxic to dogs.

After receiving reports of vomiting and kidney injury following exposure to cream of tartar, veterinarians put two and two together and worked out that tartaric acid and potassium bitartrate, compounds present in cream of tartar, are also present in grapes.

This may finally answer the long standing question as to why dogs develop kidney injury following ingestion of grapes. It also answers the question as to why some dogs are affected and others are not. This conundrum lies in the variability in tartaric acid concentration in grapes with concentrations changing based on grape type, locality and ripeness.

Whilst 20g of grapes per kg (approximately 5 grapes per kg) has been reported to cause kidney damage, there is a report of a dog eating 1/2 grape per kg developing kidney injury also. So the best advice out there is still to avoid feeding your dog grapes and sultanas!
