We are a kitten and cat rescue group run by volunteers. MEOW rescue is a NOT for profit organisation which rescues Cats and Kittens within the Melbourne area.

Our moto is to rescue, rehabilitate & rehome.

f foster carers in their own homes so come socialised and in most cases have had interaction with other cats and dogs. All kittens and cats have been vet checked, wormed, treated for fleas, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and are looking for their purrfect home.

We work with the community, shelters/pounds and other rescue groups to make change in the lives of so many unwanted animals. We run a last litter program whereby people surrender their litter of kittens to us and we desex the Mother cat for free, thus stopping the cycle of unwanted litters. We are also happy to discuss any issues relating to your cats/kittens and try to help keep these cats and kittens out of pounds. What an amazing start and response from the community visiting us at Petstock Chelsea and Clyde to celebrate national adoption weekend!
We were able to chat about Meow rescue and why desexing is so important! Thank you to those that donated, purchased raffle tickets and shared stories of adoption with us.

Thank you to the beautiful families that opened up their homes and hearts to give these cats and kittens a forever family. Adopting these animals today has allowed us to say YES to rescue more kittens and cats in need today.

Grace and her kittens came into care via our last litter program! Grace has been an adoring mum and now its time for them to find there forever home.

When you adopt you help save another cat or kitten and provide space for another to get rescued. Affectionate and loving ! Would suit another cat home and or by themselves. Gentle introduction to a cat friendly dog.

Raggamuffin is coming to Petstock Chelsea 22/3/25 SATURDAY 10-2pm
Come and meet the lovable girl who came into rescue from a hoarding situation. Raggamuffin is an incredible cat given what she has been through and the most affectionate girl. She is in foster care with cats and dogs. She would make an amazing companion ❤️

His amazing foster carer has helped him thrive and be the happy confident boy he is today. Xavier is ready for adoption ! Please note a hind leg wheelchair was trialed with Xavier however he didnt like it and enjoys getting around on his own terms. About Xavier Xavier - Even with his rough start he just wants to be treated like a regular kitty. He loves climbing and running around as fast as he can. As much as he loves rough housing with his brothers he also really likes a cuddle, preferring to tuck himself under blankets. Very talkative and would prefer to be able to spend time with people than be left alone. Best suited to an older children family of 12+ and has been with other cats and a small caboodle in foster home. Xavier came into care with paralysed hind legs and semi incontinent - he wears nappys to help keep him comfortable and requires a family that are committed to helping him thrive and care for his extra needs.
