Hi everyone Maria here just wanting to thank Declan for being the chicken enthusiast he is and wishing him all the best with his studies and what the future holds for him.

I met Declan several years ago when he started his journey and a friendship and mutual passion for chickens meant also working together was easy between us.

Declan’s passion for Cochins, orpingtons, wyandottes and andalusion means we have those breeds now at our Sunset Valley Chicks farm and the season has been great with hatching and raising their chicks.

We also have his Sebastopol geese which next year we look forward to their off spring has well.

Here’s some of the Orpington and Cochins our and about at our farm.

We look forward to posting pictures of all our fancy feathered and feet birds here in the days to come.

Just remember money doesn’t buy happiness but chickens come pretty close. 😍❤️🐤🐥❤️

Hey everyone, it’s been a minute!

Many of you will know by now that I stopped breeding chooks a little while ago after transferring to an interstate University for my studies. But while I personally stopped breeding them, my chooks live on together, with all breeding pens now at another great home at Sunset Valley Chicks. Maria will be managing this page from now on, so you’ll still see plenty of fancy feathers and feet!

I want to thank you all for your support and interest in my chooks over the past few years, it’s been amazing!

I’ll be around and watching this page frequently, so please don’t stop saying ‘hi’ when you feel like it!

And once again - Merry Christmas to everyone!
