If your pet’s chip is registered with HomeSafe, it’s time to change to another registry! Don’t risk your fur babies not finding their way back to you!

Microchip Pet Registry company, HomeSafeID, will soon cease to operate online.

What does this mean? 👇
If you know your pet is registered with HomeSafeID, you will need to change your microchip registration to another company 📝

If your pet's registration isn't updated, should they go missing or are found, vets/councils/animal shelters will no longer be able to view your pet’s ownership details listed on their microchip when it is scanned, making it difficult to reunite you!

If you don’t know your pet’s microchip number or have lost their paperwork with their registration details, contact your veterinarian, council or animal shelter. They can scan your pet and provide the microchip number.

If you adopted a pet from RSPCA with a HomeSafe ID registry or had a microchip implanted at a RSPCA Community Day, while we cannot update your pet’s microchip details for you, we can help you find your adoptee’s microchip number and answer any questions you may have on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) or your local shelter.

Time for some good news after a difficult day yesterday. I’m happy to announce that we managed to reach a grand total of $520 with the last minute Christmas epaulette fundraiser. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful support!

It’s been a tough day today. Sadly we had to farewell the bestest of boys, Boo’s brother from another mother and protector, Bundy Bear. Bundy recently had his 12th birthday but had been dealing with the progressive symptoms of GOLPP which finally took their toll on his ageing back legs.

This little elf is finally done in the Christmas workshop and the last few orders heading out! I’ll admit this was a bit of a last minute idea and I may have been caught out by how many orders came in but we got there in the end! I’ll post the final tally separately!

Epaulettes are starting to head out to their new homes after a minor delay - the weather and Energex had other ideas about me finishing some orders on Sunday night and though I should sit in the dark during a storm with the floofs for 5 hours. Ready for their new home!! There’s also a little recycling going on here. I had a roll of heavy binding tape from Reverse Garbage that has been loitering in my supplies. It’s now making the backing loops!

Soooooo this is a shout-out to all my emergency services people who may be working over the Christmas period and want to share some Christmas spirit! Actually, this is for anyone who wears shirts with epaulettes!
I’ve decided this year to do a bit of a Christmas fundraiser to help out the lovely Fresh Start Rescue Incorporated. I am now taking orders for sets of Christmas epaulettes, in your choice of fabric, for just $10 a pair. The full $10 from every pair sold will go to Freshies to help with the never ending vet and kennel bills.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. Postage will be $4.00 if you’re not in an area I can drop them off to you.

About 4 years ago, I had a go at designing my own fabric for Boo Magoo's, loosely based on a fave traditional tattoo print and some name tags I had done for the girls. Finally got around to making new leads and collars and finished Emma’s tonight before our TTouch workshop tomorrow. She
can be the coolest doggo there! 😎😎

For several years, I’ve been kicking myself that I never finished my Cert IV with Delta, having to withdraw in 2018. In an effort to make a bigger commitment to myself and life beyond my emergency services role, I have now re-enrolled so I can qualify as an accredited force-free trainer and move towards a different form of volunteering in the assistance dog space. 18 months of work ahead but I am doing something for me!
