Thank you to Luna and her Mum Diane for the lovely email review and picture!!
Luna recently broke her toe on "The best day of her life" whilst she was running freely at a huge off lead park. The toe has not fully healed but we do not need to do any further supportive bandaging which is a win! Although we will miss our regular cuddle sessions.
"Hi. Thankyou so much for the care you have taken with my Luna the last few weeks. You are all amazing and my go to vet. Luna is still sleeping off her sedatives 😴 feels like living with a sleeping toddler coz I don't want to disturb her 🤣 I wanted to post a review on your page but didn't see an option for that. Thankyou all again. "
Regardless of the heat 🔥☀️Snowball certainly melted our hearts today! 💓Good luck at your new home!!

Last week Sarge ingested a corn cob segment which unfortunately had to be surgically removed. Although corn kernels are safe for dogs, the cob is the perfect size to obstruct the bowel and can make your pet very unwell!
Thankfully Sarge's owners were quick to act and after his surgery he is making a full recovery at home with his family.
**Content Warning** pictures contain intra operative moment and corn cob culprit.

Monte didn't even notice his Proheart Heartworm injection. Food is definitely the way to his heart! 🥰
Little Georgie recently visited us for her routine manicure and pedicure💅🏻(nail trim)! Georgie can get nervous about people touching her feet and is usually administered some sedatives to ease her anxiety. Dr. Meg noticed that one of Georgie’s teeth looked suspiciously unhealthy. It was decided that we would take care of the tooth and nails on the same day! One of Georgie’s teeth needed extracting and after her scale and polish her other teeth are in sound condition! Georgie is the cutest little wiggle worm!!! See next posts for part two and three!
We had the pleasure of meeting Perth’s very own Dolly Parton 🎶🐶 With her sweet & playful personality we know she will be making her mum work more than “9 to 5” 😎🦴
⛅ As the weather warms up, we start to see more parasite problems for all sorts of pets. For more information on some of the more common parasites we come across, the problems they cause and how to get rid of them and prevent them, please speak to our team.
🐶🐱 Getting to know your pet's ears can help detect and prevent ear problems and infections. Whilst some breeds of pets can be prone to ear problems, inflammation and infections can occur from something as simple as a grass seed. If you suspect your pet has an ear infection or you’ve noticed a change in your pet’s normal ear condition, please contact us to book an appointment for your pet.
❤Dakota loves her Peanut Butter Lickimat 🥜🧈 Remember to use Natural Peanut Butter, with no added salt, sugar, and no artificial sweeteners.
It's important to continue exercising your pet in Winter, as well as keeping them mentally stimulated. Being cooped up inside can encourage destructive and negative behaviours. Walks, runs, catching up with friends and play sessions in the park are perfect ways to keep your pet active. Here are a few tips for you.
Happy International Cat Day! Share below a pic of your cat in his favourite spot in the house 😊 #InternationalCatDay
Assistance Dog Day is part of the International Assistance Dog Week. The objective is to recognise and value the hard work of assistance dogs. These specially trained dogs provide essential help to so many people in our community. IADW have great resources, to help teach us more about Assistance dogs. #AssistanceDogDay https://www.assistancedogweek.org/
While the weather is still cool, it’s important to keep your furry friend warm and comfortable.
Today is pet fire safety day! We've put together some things to consider to keep your pet safe from danger.
Sometimes when a pet is in pain, you may see subtle changes in their behaviour. Cats may sleep more and resist jumping; dogs may be hesitant to go on a walk. Any changes in behaviour can be a sign of pain or other health issues, and we recommend taking your furry family to see our veterinary team.
For our older pets, it is important that they are kept warm and comfortable during the cooler months. If you notice them struggling to move, it could be age-related diseases such as arthritis. If you are wanting more information on ways to keep your pet warm or have a senior pet that you would like to discuss, contact us today.
There is plenty of evidence to support that cuddling your cat is beneficial for your health. Make sure you hug your feline today. If your cat isn't into hugs - perhaps a high 5 or a pat! #HugYourCatDay
