What a fabulous day at Boneo for Pen Nant Fire Cracker and I yesterday… taking out the Medium championship 💪. Despite being the only pony in the small field, he held his own amongst some lovely horses!

I am absolutely loving the journey with this beautiful pony, and how far he has come in such a short time!

I am so grateful to Jacks lovely owner Judy Appleton, for trusting me with the trading and campaigning of your very clever pony 🥰

‼️ Spaces available for training/campaigning sale of horses ‼️

Growcott Equestrian is currently accepting new horses for training/retraining/campaigning and preparation for sale/sale of horses.

I (Maddi Growcott) have had many years of experience in competition, sales and training, taking horses up the levels from breakers all the way through to FEl dressage.

Having also spent 6months last year (2023) training at a dressage barn in Germany, furthering my knowledge and skills of the sport.

Whilst my team at the moment mainly consist of dressage horses, I have also had experience with eventers and showjumpers (competing up to 120cm SJ).

I pride myself in building a strong relationship and bond with each individual horse that I work with, ensuring their training is always positive and following the training scale. I keep all owners involved and up to date with regular progress videos of their horses, as well as having an open door policy.

🤩Boneo June dressage weekend🤩

*late post!!*

Despite some not so great weather… what a lovely weekend 😆

Bloomfield Viva Lady
- Viva had some lovely parts to her tests this weekend (even scoring a few 8’s)! Although a little bit tense at times, she is really starting to show her potential and start to come out of her shell. I am so happy with how far she has come and just love working with this mare 😊.

* Saturday - 6th overall in the Novice championship

* Sunday - 7th overall in the Novice championship

Isle Of Rousay
- Little Rousy man did not disappoint! For only his third comp, his constancy is unbelievable and improving so much! Not only did we have another weekend with a new PB (72.5%), but this little guy didn’t score under 70% all weekend! I am so so proud of Rous. He has SUCH a bright future ahead of him 🥰.

* Saturday - 3rd in both tests and overall in the Preliminary championship

* Sunday - winning both tests and the preliminary championship 🥇

Phuntime
- gorgeous Zoom also had a fantastic weekend with some great tests! This 4yo is really starting to show her potential. With a fantastic work ethic, lovely movement and the sweetest personality… there’s not much else that you could ask for! She also had a PB this weekend (71.4%) for only her third comp! I cannot wait for her future! 😆

* Saturday - 6th overall in the Preliminary championship

* Sunday - placing 2nd is both tests and reviving the Reserve Preliminary Championship

What a fabulous weekend with all that horses!!

Bloomfield Viva Lady
- Viva had a great weekend with some fantastic results with some PB’s (71.3%)! This horse is coming along in leaps and bounds and her owners and I could not be any more proud of her! Patience and sticking to the training scale has been the key with this mare 🥰.

* Saturday - 4th overall in the Novice championship

* Sunday - 3rd overall in the Novice championship

Isle Of Rousay
- Oh little Rous man, what a legend you are!! Not only are you pretty as a picture, but an absolute dude who takes everything in your stride! For a horse that is only just starting his career, he looks like a seasoned professional! So proud of this little man pulling out some ripper tests and also some PB’s (70.9%). Although a little tired on Sunday, he still tried his absolute heart out 😆!

* Saturday - 2nd overall in the Preliminary championship

* Sunday - 5th overall in the preliminary championship

Phuntime
- At just 4 years old, Zoom could not have impressed me any more! This young mare was PERFECT all weekend, trying her absolute hardest! Zoom is an absolute pleasure to work with and improving with every ride. She dint blink an eye all weekend, performing some beautiful tests. Can wait to see how this young mares future unfolds 😆!

* Saturday - 5th overall in the Preliminary championship

* Sunday - 8th overall in the Preliminary championship

Samarai
- Sammy also had a super weekend with some great tests for only his second competition! So proud of how this horse is starting to bring together everything we have worked on over the last few years. Slowly but surely he is demonstrating why the good (and quirky) ones take time 🤭!

* Sunday - 10th overall in the Novice championship

💫 2024 Leader Equine Carlton performance horse Dressage Championships 💫

I feel like these two gorgeous horses deserve their own post 🥰

Bloomfield Viva Lady:
Viva is getting stronger And stronger each competition 💪. She is starting to relax, breath and enjoy the work she is doing. Such a beautiful, kind soul and I am so exited for her future. Beyond proud of this gorgeous girl this weekend 🥰

Novice:
2.2 - 14th (66%)
2.3 - 6th (68.5%)

Samaria:
Gorgeous Sammy had his first competition this weekend and to say I was proud of him would be an understatement! I have been working with Sammy and his gorgeous owner, Sandra for a few years now. There have been MANY ups and downs and only now are we starting to see the light at the end of what was a verrrrrry long tunnel. Couldn’t have asked any more of this lovely boy who got better and better as each day went by at Boneo 😊.

‼️Proudly presenting Yarralea Rockin Blues‼️

Approx 13 hh blue roan GRP x 2019 gelding

Floyd is by the superstar elite imported German riding pony stallion Golden Rock out of an Australian pony mare.

At his licensing in Germany, Golden Rock was awarded Reserve Champion Premium Westphalian stallion out of 83 stallions that were selected to be presented with his scores including two 9's. At Verden he was approved by Hannover and gained the Second Reserve Champion of the licensing with a Premium title and a score of 9 for his loose uphill trot.
He was also approved for Weser Ems with a Premium Class Il title.

Floyd has had correct handling from a foal and has done some youngstock showing in hand.

Broken in 12 months ago he has a very easygoing temperament and takes everything in his stride being an extremely quick learner! Floyd has no dirt in him and acts well beyond his years.

He will excel in a capable home who can bring him on and continue his education. He has EXEPTIONAL movement and looks and is a lovely person to have around the place with a brilliant temperament… He has been used as a nanny to young horses as well.

Floyd is easy to rug, clip, catch, float, trim and a very good doer. He has had a few outings to the beach and rides down the road along with arena work. Will make a standout pony for an ambitious rider.

A pony of this temperature, breeding, movement and amazing colour is rare to come by!!

Very sad sale as he's a delight to have around the place.

💥One spot available to take on horse/pony for training (long or short term available)💥

Hi everyone,
I currently have space to take on one more horse into training.

I offer a multitude of services which include; training, re-training, campaigning (competitions), sale preparation, and the sale of horses.

I have had many years experience training with all types of horses/ponies, from dressage to showjumping and from youngsters through to FEI. I also spent 5 months last year furthering my knowledge and skills, training with horses in Germany.

I mainly specialise in dressage horses, having had 2 very successful horses of my own. BZ Flynn, who I have had since a 4yo and have successfully trained through to FEI Small Tour, training many of the GP movements. And BZ Qantas who I have had since an 18 month old, breaking him in and working our way through the levels, in which we have been very successful in both the YH classes and EA classes.

Regular updates and videos are sent to each horses owner to show all progress. We also have an open door policy for all owners wanting to pop in and see how everything is travelling.

Our facilities include:
- lovely 20x40 sand arena
- Small stable complex (one more stable available if requested)
- great electric fencing, including some fully meshed paddocks
- secure and spacious wash/tie up area
- 24/7 surveillance over each stable, tie ups and arena

💥 2024 Victorian Youth Dressage Championships 💥

Bloomfield Viva Lady:
Gorgeous Viva was an absolute star all weekend, really holding her own and starting to show her true potential with some great scores and lovely comments from the judges. This gorgeous girl is coming along in leaps and bounds! I am so impressed with how far she has come in such a short period of time and how hard she tries for me. I’m so excited for the future of this mare!

Preliminary 1.2 - 3rd (69.9%)
Preliminary 1.3 - 4th (70.1%)
Overall reserve preliminary champion 🥈

Novice 2.2 - 6th (68.9%)
Novice 2.3 - 9th (64.5%)
7th overall

Nova Dancer:
Little Miss Nova took everything in her stride and did not miss a beat! We had some PB’s this weekend with some absolutely fabulous tests! Nova continues to impress me every day with her talent and amazing work ethic towards her training. She really is a horse and a ponies body!

Pony Novice 2.2 - 1st (74.2%)
Pony Novice 2.3 - 1st (69.8%)
Overall pony novice champion 🥇

Pony Elementary 3.2 - 3rd (69.3%)
Pony Elementary 3.3 - 5th (65.7%)
3rd overall

Despite being absolutely exhausted, Nova pulled out an absolute cracker elementary freestyle for the win as well! Could not have asked for any more off this little mare 🥰

Isle of Rousay:
Rouse is the newest edition to my team, and oh my he is one to look out for! This was Rouse’s first event and he took everything in his stride! Every day just got better and better! I’m so impressed with this horse and how far he has come in the short amount of time I have worked with him.I cannot wait for the future with this guy.

Preliminary we finished mid field in both of our tests scoring in the mid 60’s. We had a few little inconsistencies (all baby things) in these two tests (which is completely understandable for a young inexperienced fella like him 😆)… however Mr Rouse really showed me what he was capable of in the following days…

Unofficial preliminary:
Preliminary 1.1 - 7th (67.6%)
Preliminary 1.2 – 2nd (70.8%)
3rd overall

Alfie is an absolutely gorgeous 11yo, 16.3hh, WB gelding, looking for his new sand dancing partner! Alfie has 3 beautiful flowing paces, with a lovely frame to follow.

Alfie is a at novice level dressage, with established leg-yields, shoulder-in, travers and lengthen strides. He is a super quick learner and will most definitely go up the grades with the right rider.

Alfie would be the ultimate adult rider or confident YR/interschool mount. He is super quite on the the ground and not much phases him under saddle either! He is fantastic to take out to new places and easy to f/c/s.

This is an extremely hard sale as Alfie has been owned by his owner since he was only 12 months old. He is only now for sale as his owner has started a family and no longer has the time to give Alfie the love and time he deserves.

I (Maddi Growcott) I’ve been working with Alfie for a number of weeks now to prepare him for sale, and have absolutely fallen in love with him. he is definitely going to make his next rider, very happy ☺️
