A HUGE thank you to a very special donor!
Willow, is FOUR YEARS OLD, and raises money by himself, by asking for donations as opposed to presents for his birthday - and then donates to a charity 🥹🥹🥹
We are so incredibly grateful, and absolutely astounded by his amazing generosity.
Willow - you should be very proud! You will do great things in the world 🌏
A thank you video from some of our bush babies from the last 12 months ❤️🦘

This ain’t the red light district….. it’s just a monotreme on the move! 🦔❤️🦔
Yes, Echidna’s are on the move! This little dude spotlighted in flattering red glow, was taken to a vet after someone found him wandering along the side of the road.
If you happen to stumble across one of these cute little quill covered monotremes, or happen to find one in your yard - that’s ok!
We are receiving a lot of phone calls and requests from concerned members of public who are finding these wonderful creatures, and wish to relocate them to ensure their safety.
While this may seem like the right course of action, it is actually really important to, where possible leave them be. An Echidna should not be relocated.
Echnida have a very advanced, and quite complex inbuilt GPS system. This helps them locate food, their homes, and also their puggles. They also rely heavily on local scent trails to find their mate . If we relocate them, we disrupt all of this and they can become very disorientated and distressed. It also means that any puggles in the nest will possibly starve to death.
The best thing to do is to remove all domestic animals from the situation (if the echidna is in your yard, lock your dog inside for example), and allow the echidna to move on. Once little mate is happy he is safe again, he will begin on his merry way.
Where possible, don’t approach the echnida- his natural defence mechanism is to curl into a ball! Further prolonging his journey. Similarly, if you find an echidna in your yard dug into the ground - the more you approach it, the more he will dig down. Best to leave him be and once he is sure he is safe he will continue on.
If you are concerned the echnida has an injury, or you are unsure of the best course of action you can contact one of our friendly phone coordinators 24/7 for advice ❤️🦔

And remember; these busy little monotremes, just have places to be!

Live on UK TV! 8/4/22
The Agile Project featured on UK TV today! Well done Shai, Hannah, Dr Scott and of course the gorgeous Yule & Freddie 😍
We are officially on our way down to Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW to help out the flood affected communities with wildlife rescue and care and anything else they may need. The main focus for us is getting critical supplies to carers who are incredibly isolated and have no one to help them. During the long drive Shai will be stopping at multiple drop off locations to collect more supplies to disperse to those in need. We are so incredibly honoured and grateful to be able to help those impacted by these horrific floods. 💗🦘
We would also love to say a HUGE thank you to every single community member, volunteer sewing crews, for making this possible. We have made over a hundred pouches for these wildlife carers in less than 2 days! The amount of community support is absolutely incredible 💗🦘
