ACC 10966084. A Brisbane, foster based rescue, we aim to maintain a healthy and responsible management plan for canines that have been displaced from their homes. We place the highest importance on enabling them to be happy and healthy in a loving foster home from the moment they arrive. Our

dedicated foster carers help the canines to adjust to their new life whilst our team organise all necessary veterinary work to be carried out. We believe in educating the public about responsible pet ownership by leading with example. All animals that come through our rescue are de-sexed in an effort to stop the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies. Advice is given to new owners to maintain the regime for their new pet. All of our canines are assessed for health, temperament, likes and dislikes in order to match them up with their most compatible new adoptive owners. Our handsome Reed is ready and waiting to find his foster family.

Reed is a gentle, sweet and affectionate boy. He can be unsure of new things and does take a moment to settle in but when he does he is your best friend. He loves to play and prance around.

Reed is good with other dogs and if fostered with another doggy would like a gentle friend.
Reed needs some training but is super food motivated, he needs some work on his leash work as well.

Meet Snoop, this handsome guy is an 8 year old foxy x.

Snoop is such a sweet, loyal, loving, playful and cuddly boy, that loves nothing more than a belly rub & a cuddle.
Snoop enjoys spending his day following around his foster mum, watching movies & playing with the kids and chasing after a ball in the yard with his fur foster siblings.

Snoop is an absolute delight, his gentle, loving and loyal nature would make him the most amazing addition to his forever family.

Snoop is such a social boy, he adores children, other dogs and cats. He is also fully house and crate trained.

Ariel is a confident gentle girl that is looking for her forever home 🩷
She loves playing with her foster siblings, but would also do great as an only dog as she really is obsessed with her people, cuddling as close as possible every chance she gets.

When out and about she’s always checking back in with you to make sure you’re close by.
She will happily entertain herself during the day playing with her toys, zooming around the yard chasing bugs or chewing on a pig’s ear!
This girl is also the ultimate cat friendly dog, she loves a sniff but happy to just walk past minding her own (minus the occasional tail slap to the cats face)! A cat that would play with her would also make her incredibly happy but definitely does not need to want anything to do with her 😂
She does get quite vocal when playing, letting out an excited bark but listens very well when you tell her “quiet”.
Her “sit” and “stay” are just shy of perfect, as well as her toilet training as long as you’re watching! She’ll longingly look out the door for all of 2 seconds but that means she’s gotta go! But ultimately, if you let her out every hour she’ll go straight to the grass.
She is likely going to be a big lean girl, but nothing short of the perfect! An active home that will enjoy taking her out for walks and runs would be ideal bc she does have energy to burn as a growing puppy!

Gabby enjoys spending her day playing with his doggy friends, chasing toys, working on his basic obedience, sleeping and getting lots of cuddles & pats!
Gabby is a very sociable boy, he loves other dogs of all sizes and is great with children & cats.

Hey All,

As much of South East Qld, we are experiencing the effects of Cyclone Alfred. Most of our admin team and carers are affected with power outages and/or experiencing flooding. There will be delays with replies to emails and social media messages, there will be delays with meet and greets as well.

Stay safe everyone, hopefully this is over soon and life will turn back to somewhat normal.

Introducing our adorable, Teddy! 🐻

Teddy joined us recently and will be staying as an ABC Rescue pup forever.
Sadly Teddy was born with 3 massive heart conditions-
* Patent Ductus Arterious
* Pulmonic Stenosis
* A large Bidirectional Secundum Atrial Septal defect
All of these on their own are debilitating, but having all 3 together means devastatingly Teddy is not going to live a very long life.

What we will absolutely make sure is that Teddy has the best life he can possibly have. We have picked a carer that will make sure he lives a spoilt, loved and wonderful life and when the time comes for Teddy cross the rainbow bridge, we will be right there holding his hand.

We have had a beautiful family donated a Ninja Creamy valued at $350 to help us raise funds for a special boy in our care, and who better than Teddy. Teddy needs daily medications, and he will need ongoing check-ups throughout his short life.

Hello, I'm Yarcov!

I can be a little shy, but particularly shy around men, I have a sweet and cuddly side, bu it just takes me a little bit to warm up.
I love a calm home where I can relax and be myself – I’m not much for loud noises or big crowds or too much going on. I do love my daily outings with the dog walker investigating the suburbs, creeks
and dams. I am dreaming of having a nice yard where I can explore, chase around my toys that I don't mind throwing for myself.

I quite enjoy spending time with other dogs.
I am still building my confidence and am hoping to find someone who is patient and understanding that we have to take things slowly. If this sounds like you, please come meet me!
