Bear was a small gentle soul who this week I’ve been advised has passed over the rainbow bridge.

Although we never got along completly we always had time for cuddles when I finished.

You will be sadly missed Bear. Have fun chasing the ball up there.

I’ve learnt in the recent weeks, one of my true gentle giants has gained his wings and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Alfie although we didn’t always get along you will be sadly missed by me but certainly by your family. Play always my good boy.

Today we acknowledge our four-legged friends who have served and continue to serve in the Australian Defence Force.

Our Military Working Dogs demonstrate the core military values of duty, loyalty, respect and valour. We thank our furry comrades for their dedicated service.
