Hi everyone my name is Tamia and I've been riding since I was 6 years old, I've competed up to 1* Eventing, 120cm showjumping and elementary dressage, I've also been track riding for 3 years. I've had a huge successes on my competition horse, but my greatest success is taking green OTT's and training them to a point we're there ready to go off to there new homes with all the skills they need.
My dear Fonzie has been sold to a amazing home. Was a very hard decision to make but I can’t wait to see his future. I’ll be out for the winter but will be back in summer when a new horse. Still taking clients on so message me if you need a hand. ❤️❤️❤️

Sorry guys i have been very quiet on my social medie this week, due to having covid and tonsillitis.
But im back ready to start my busy week again.
Fonzie's first cross country round, he was so eager and absolutely loved it. Horse trials here we come 🥰

Yarra Glen Supercross
This was Fonzie's first XC competition and he absolutely loved it, flying around the course and not looking twice at any jump. He went around clear but picked up a few time penalties (to fast) as I need to remember I'm doing grade 5 not grade 1 🤪
Showjumping was a lovely clear round.
We finished the day off with a 4th and 2nd in the Off the track section.
Fonzie is definitely going to be a great eventer and I can't wait do our first Horse Trials in a couple of weeks

This gorgeous girl is coming along really well. Really happy with the progress in such a short time. Such a pleasure to work with such a talented horse.
New client update:
Montana was purchased by my client a few weeks ago as a horse that can be taken to ARC and taken out on trails. My client reached out to see if I could bring her back into work after she had a long spell due to her previous owner having a baby. Montana has shown great improvement in only 3 rides. The owner wanted to be confident jumping into the saddle on this girl so I am working on maintaining i nice relationship with Montana and her lovely owner, as well as creating a safe and calm horse for my client to take out.
At the moment we are working on creating a soft and calme horse. How am i doing this?
I find it is important when bringing a horse back into work, not to push the horse to quick. So we are working on creating a nice frame and getting her soft through the bridle.
Fonzie is starting to look like a real eventer. He got cliped yesterday and was a little confused to what was going on but he handled him self really well.
Tonignt we did a fitness ride at my partners property and he did so well.
Thought i would share a bit of back ground information for are much loved Fonzie:
Fonzie was a star in the racing ring with a handful of races, resulting in him taking home around $84,240. I think his last race was in the 1400m race at Bendigo.
Then Fonzie made his way into a big paddock for a lovely spell and let down.
Im not sure if he would rather be racing still but i think he loves his life after racing.
I would love to thank the owners who really took care of him while he was racing and because of you he is able to enjoy his life after racing with no health problems.

Fonzie is starting to understand how to use his back with a nice jumping exercises.
Making a life full of memories is so important, make sure are horses know how much we love them ❤

We have hit a massive milestone today,
Fonzie is really starting to understand when we go out to not stress. I feel like we are both really starting to create something really special.
My biggest goal for me and Fonzie would be hopefully to compete 1* but at the moment my goal right now is too work up the levels as slow as we need. I find there is no rush in creating a high performance horse. Slow and steady wins the race and making sure your horse comes first no matter what.
