My name is Monica Fry and I offer services to care for people's pets. I am 26 years of age. I am certified in Certificates 1, 2, and 3 in Companion Animal Services from Tafe Wangaratta. My current employment is as a trainer for Service and Therapy dogs with Dog's for Life (previously CSTDA).
I am based in Wangaratta but am happy to travel to people's homes to check up on pets and deliver any services that are required. I find this to be a more beneficial setup for the pets as they are within their own environment while their families are away.
Another option that is also available, is for pets to stay with me in an animal-friendly environment till families return.
Services:
Dog walks.
Costs:
$30.00 30 - 45 minutes.
$40.00 45 minutes - 1 hour.
$10.00 Each extra pet.
At Home Package - $60.00
- Regular updates on your pets (photos optional).
- Ensure everything around the home is secure, e.g. everything left how it was when owners left.
- Travel to/from the owner's home.
- Daily check-up on pets.
- Clean water refills each day.
- P**p pick up when required.
- Love and attention!
- Playtime (walks are an optional extra).
- Feeding when required by owner (morning/lunch/evening).
- Medications (if required).
Other services available -
- Pet taxi (drop off/pick up when required).
- Pet daycare (check in on pets during the day at their home or staying at my house for an allotted time).
All other services - negotiable but starting at $10.
Minimum notification of 3 days is required for new clients looking for pet care so that meet/greet of family/pets can be completed as early as possible.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Refund policy: The owner/s have 24 hours before pet service begins if they wish to cancel the booking. If payment is made prior to cancellation, then a full refund will be made. If the booking is canceled with less than 24 hours notice a charge of 50% of the service fee will be occurred.
Once the booking is confirmed an agreed time will be arranged to meet the owner/s and pet/s. This will allow for a proper introduction to be completed between the pets, family, and myself (or any other staff member who may be involved). Information concerning the care of the animals will be discussed at this time and paperwork will be given to the owner to complete. Said paperwork can be returned to me in person or left at the premises to be picked up. Initial consultations are free.
