We have had a really busy time over the last six months. Sorry that we haven’t posted for a while. We’ve had a few pups leave home, with a couple of them going to families who already own one of our special Cuballa dogs. We also had a couple of our older dogs, who’ve been droving and mustering respectively in NSW, come home in preparation for working this year with us. We will probably also be very quiet on here over the next couple of months as we take time to pick up lots of little broken pieces …

The Boss’ grandson Henry, passed away tragically last night. We’re completely devastated and struggling to come to terms with it. Very very sad time for our family. We were very fortunate to have H and his sister live with us for three months last year. We loved every minute of it. We were going to be moving down to the station near White Cliffs in a couple of weeks time so that we could spend more time with the two kids and their mum. Anyway, we’ll still be around so if you need us for anything, just send us a message or give us a call.

Remember these two pups from St George that we are helping to find homes for?

Well, the kelpie who has just been crowned “Australia’s hardest working dog” … Bear … is the grandfather of these pups.

How cool is that!

The little guys are still looking for their new employment and/or best mate so if you know of anyone, give us a call or send us a message.

We have had a few enquiries regarding the pups and we will put you on the owners to obtain more information.

This beautiful big blue boy, very aptly named Blue (though Maddie still calls him Bill), is looking for his new home. He’s just under 18 months and he really is very handsome 😀 Both his mother and his father have very clearly left their stamp on this fella.

He:
- is loyal and smart
- is very good with our grandkids
- loves Maddie’s two sons
- loves being near you so is never far away. He’ll go and check what’s happening around the house yard here at home but soon as you call he’s back in a jiffy
- doesn’t wander off away from home
- is very good off lead and is very good on lead
- is a bit picky with other dogs, he either loves them or he doesn’t take to them. He’s always been around other dogs
- doesn’t jump fences, though he isn’t overly keen on colourbond fences (can’t say I blame him 😆)
- is entire
- Is a great dog and Maddie would love to keep him around but she’s got enough of them to keep her company and occupied so he needs to find his new person/s

Marbles is usually under my desk whilst I’m working but she’s having some fun outside at the moment so the two little guys are keeping me company for a while. Luckily they aren’t very chatty so I can concentrate on work🤣

This little fella is now available.

He loves a cuddle and is very sweet but has plenty of attitude when he thinks he needs it 😀

Two five month old males available Located outside of St George Qld

Sire - cream Kelpie, very good worker in paddock and yards, good stamina, very obedient, not a big barker but will run up backs of sheep.

Dam - Black and Tan Kelpie, good worker, obedient, bit of bark, very loyal.

Owners are unable to keep these pups at the moment. Pups have not yet been started.

When you have a big morning getting a bath, of course the next thing you need to do is find a comfortable place to have a sleep out in the sun. Maddie’s lap is obviously one of the best comfy places and the edge of the table makes a great headrest 🤦‍♀️ 😂

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad’s out there 🎉 We hope you enjoyed your day 😀

The little fellas with their Dad, Mum, The Boss and the ring-in Miss Marbles. The boys love their rides on the quad bike. Next they’ll learn to ride the two wheelers. Hopefully they’ll be as good on the bikes as their Dad is.
