Mini has made her way back to Armidale after a fruitful 8 weeks here with us.
8 weeks of advancing ridden & cattle work whilst building confidence, experience and exposure along the way has proven to do Mini the world of good!

‘A thousand times over thank you, I’m on such a high. I wasn’t expecting her to be anywhere near as good as she is. Her stops were great, I did a roll back each way on the fence, she did those smoothly & nicely. No complaints at all. I’m so happy thank you!!‘

Receiving such kind words from Sophie following her first ride after Mini’s time here with us has left us smiling ear to ear.

Young Sophia is provided with the best opportunity to flourish into a well-rounded horse through her weekly young horse handling sessions.

Groundwork exercises are a great way to encourage Sophia to use her body and mind. Displaying calm and willing responses whilst building confidence in each session, we are establishing a solid foundation and prepairing this young filly for the future.

Pacific Empire proving his versatility this weekend.

Over two days of jumping, with the beautiful backdrop of Oaks Sport Horses, Eski was an absolute pleasure to have out and about. Finding his feet quickly, we are exceptionally happy with Eski’s progression and love seeing him enjoying himself.

ESKI

Wrapping up 5 weeks in fine fashion.

Impressed is an understatement when it comes to this horses adjustment in work ethic over the past 5 weeks. Eski came with a few quirks and a rather negative attitude towards work, especially over consecutive days.
We have managed to alter Eski’s thinking by opening his mind up with a variety of tasks and exercises, now dealing with a horse who is engaged and willing to put in the effort and go the extra mile when asked.

We think very highly of this horse and look forward to seeing what he can achieve for himself and his owners.

Welcome CHERRY 🍒

Cherry has settled in well after a long trip down from central QLD a little over a month ago.

She will reside here with us in Werombi undergoing basic ground work development, until ridden work is ready to commence.

FRIDAYS ARE FOR FARES 🦄

Fares started his ridden career here with us at JTE and has since undergone multiple ’boot camps’.

Owner and rider Virginia receives weekly training sessions with James, covering all bases from ground work to ridden.
Fares is a man of many talents, frequently having outings featuring different disciplines. From dressage competitions to cow horse clinics Fares is sure to take everything in his stride!

With improvement every week we are pleased to be apart of Fares and Virginia’s journey.
