With a very heavy heart, I have to let you know that one of our amazingly beautiful Chillax friends ‘Chase’ recently crossed over💔🐾🐾

🐾 Chase suddenly collapsed with a condition known as (IMHA) Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anemia.
It can be extremely sudden and life threatening as the pets own immune system which normally fights off invaders and infections is now fighting and attacking their own red blood cells so they become acutely anaemic.
🐾 Chase’s family absolutely adored him but couldn’t allow him suffer so with the support of their Vet, they had to make the most difficult decision any pet parent has to make💔
🐾My heart goes out to Chases’ family and friends - he was a big sweet personality who will be missed by many❣️❤️‍🩹
🐾 A massive THANK YOU to his parents for trusting their boys care in my hands and pls know that I adored your boy and couldn’t get enough of him….he will forever hold a piece of my heart and I will always remember him for the big softie he was and all the kisses will forever remain etched into my memory bank 🐾🐾🫶🩵

🐾 Our little Chillax friend here Indie is out there smashing it in her wheels at Bunnings - doing laps and increasing her step count Lol 🙈🤣🫶
🐾 Indie’s mum is doing an amazing job at educating the public about the benefits of Canine Rehab Therapies and the Wheelchair frames by walkinpets….
🐾 Indie is developing muscle mass, strength and endurance all while socialising and enjoying her life❣️💓 Keep giving it your all Indie - we’ve got you my friend! 🤗💓

🐾 Meet this little trouper ‘Turner’ - our Japanese Spitz older gentleman who came to me due to his chronic arthritis issues in forelimbs and hindend weakness.
🩵 We started with regular Rehab sessions which helped greatly to relax his super taut muscles and improve on his strength, coordination and balance however, his condition is a progressive disease so his weakness issues are causing him to knuckle over and injure his toes so we placed him in a Walkin Wheels Wheelchair Frame and he is going great guns 🩵🫶

🩵 Keep up working for those carrots my little friend and I look forward to seeing you zooming around and livin’ life to it’s fullest ❣️🤩

My beautiful princess Hope had THE BEST day today ❣️
She got to reunite with her young friend - the big baby Mulligan…🩵🤩
Only 9mths old and weighing in at nearly 70kgs already 🙈😳
Then she was surprised with a visit from her new lil friend Miss Princess Ruby weighing in at only 1.5kgs and she’s 3mths old….💓🫶 I’ll add her on another post - she’s just gorgeous and I can’t work out how to add 2 videos in the one post Lol 🙈
Now I’m realising that Hopey needs a new little friend to call her own 🤗🫶

🐾 Chase here is undergoing monthly Rehabilitation sessions due to an injury to his LH Tarsal Joint (Hock)🩵
🐾 A targeted Rehab plan has been developed by applying a Multi-Modality approach using the Hands-on Manual Massage Therapies, TENS tool, Laser and Percussion Massage tool to address his severely torn ligaments and other soft tissue damage surrounding the joint to give him the best possible care however, he will require on-going therapies❣️🫶🩵
🐾 We initially fitted him with the Walkin’ Pet’s Adjustable-Fit Splint to help to stabilise his joint.
🐾 Due to the weight compensatory issues, he will require on-going therapies to managing emerging muscle and soft tissue dysfunction as well as the chronic issues resulting from his injury❣️

🐾 In-spite of Chase’ challenges, he is still living the dream - out on a property and chasing after the quad bike 🙈…NO, it’s not encouraged but Chase still needs to be Chase and enjoy the things he can still do so I just work on him and ‘fix’ any issues after Lol 🤣🫶🐾🐾

Meet this handsome silver fox ‘Binga’ 💓🐾🐾
Binga is just the sweetest boy, he adores everybody and he’s live’n the dream …. All the belly rubs and social outings a little man could possibly want! 🫶
🐾 Binga is working on strengthening his hind limb muscles and improving his endurance to enhance his mobility for longevity.
🐾 I just love watching little old men learn new skills and the look of happiness on their faces when they’ve achieved something new…it’s priceless⭐️🩵

We’re completely devastated tonight 😢
Had to say goodbye to our beautiful friend and much loved family member Flash - forever our crazy, full-on, fast-footed tap dancer who loved life and lived life to its fullest …🐾🐾💔
We loved our adventures and many memories made….the beach, the long bush walks, sheep herding and always the hard worker - never stopped working….
He loved everyone, he was smart, he was complex, he was the fun guy, the crazy guy, the run at everything 100miles per hr guy…He played hard, loved hard, worked hard and fought a bloody good fight!
You’ll be in our hearts and memories forever!
We will celebrate your life and remember you for the amazing boy you were. 🫶🐾🐾
Your smile will always live on in our hearts!

Our very brave little friend ‘Fergus’ sadly lost his battle recently and passed over 🐾🐾🌈💔

💙 Fergus put up a brave fight and continued to show class and s***k til the end…. ❣️

🐾 I have so much admiration towards Fergus’ mum and dad as they always put his needs before their own and did it all with a smile on their face - so much love, kindness and dedication has always been given to their super special boy Fergie❣️

🐾 My heart is filled with happiness and gratitude for the chance I was gifted to do rehab with stunning Fergie….I loved absolutely every single moment spent together❣️🫶🐾🐾
Every memory of laughter, the conversations, the hugs and warmth that was openly given to me by Pete and Jen as they willingly opened their hearts and home to me will be deeply cherished for as long as I live 🫶💗💕

🐾 Now Fergie, you go give-em what’s for up there and run as fast as those little legs will take you 🕊️🐾🐾💕

🤩 Our new little Japanese Spitz friend here ‘Turner’ is kindly showing off his new Rear No-Knuckling Training Sock!

🐾 Turner was referred to me by Camden Valley Animal Hospital for Rehabilitation due to a Neurological Condition which affects his balance and coordination which of course affects his mobility and quality of life!

🐾 Turner is using the Walkin' Pets Rear No-Knuckling Training Sock as a tool to encourage improved gait function and to help by stimulating his proprioceptors within his feet to encourage and stimulate his nervous system to lift his limb higher when stepping through which then allows him to step correctly on the pads of his foot instead of dragging his foot behind. It’s a fabulous mobility aid for any dog who is knuckling over and suffers from neurological deficits!

Matilda's journey has been an absolute inspiration to me. Despite all the challenges she faced with having Diabetes, Cushings Disease and Neurological issues, she remained strong and determined. Her courage is truly admirable!
I was blessed with the opportunity to see Matilda and have one more Rehab session with her before her passing - A blessing I will never forget or take for granted!

Matilda is now at peace and I absolutely enjoyed spending every second with her and her beautiful mum Shirley.

Run free my sweet, beautiful girl Tilly and run free like you used to before these health issues consumed you!
You were such a brave and kind girl and I’ll always remember you as my dear friend XO

It’s with great heartfelt sadness that I need to let you know that we lost a little Chillax family friend recently 🌈🌈💔😢

🐾 Our sweet lil girl Asha sadly lost her fight - her body was too tired and it was her time to farewell us💗🫶🐾🐾

🐾 I was treating Asha regularly for her on-going Arthritis issues however, she also had issues with her heart and upper airways (Dynamic Airways Disease) - she had a bit going on but she never complained and always welcomed me with a cute little smile and a bouncy little gallop over to greet me….💗💗

🐾 Asha was the family queen, the precious baby, the most generous kisser 😍 and the bravest one who never complained about anything and I absolutely loved every second spent with her!
I have such wonderful memories of her and I’ll always think of her and smile because she really made me feel appreciated and special in her life - I hope she knew the feelings were reciprocated!

🐾 I miss you already my lil friend but I know you’ll be watching down on us all and hoping your mums don’t hold onto their sadness for too long……🫶💗💗

Your kindness, on-going support and trust in me to help care for your pets is heart warming to say the least…I’ve loved every single minute spent with your pets - from all the tongues in my ears, to the gentle smiles with tail wags of thanks….i thank you all for your patience and trust in me!
Without your support I wouldn’t be able to do what I love each and every day, so THANK YOU 🙏 🫶❤️🐾🐾

Big boy Borris is kick’n butt….who said old boys with Neurological issues can’t be rehabilitated 🤷‍♀️🤩

🐾 Borris is doing stair climbs, swimming sessions and he’s doing his targeted therapeutic exercises regularly and according to mum, he thinks he’s a puppy again 🫶😍🥳
He’s smashing it and I couldn’t be prouder!

💗 Little Luna here came to me with a condition known as Hemivertebrae for a wheelchair fitting 🫶
🐾 This condition affects the nervous system when spinal disc’s often push into the spinal column causing a compression on the spinal cord itself.
This condition can be a mild issue to severe with hind limb paralysis.
🐾 It occurs due to an abnormal development of the spinal vertebrae which causes early degeneration of the spinal disc’s…..

🫶 Little Luna is not letting this slow her down 😍🤩

🐾 Luna we wish you many years to come of zoomies and lots of walkies and adventures with your family 💕

Everyone meet stunning Miss Hazel 🥰

🐾 Hazel recently came to me for Rehab for conservative treatment for a partial torn cruciate ligament 🙈
🐾 Hazel is learning through therapeutic & functional exercises how to weight shift for muscle strengthening, joint stabilising & muscle recruitment in the hopes of preventing a complete cruciate rupture! 🤞🏻🫶💗

🐾 Hazel is a super sweet girl who’s only a 12mths old Mastiff X, so hopefully has a long & healthy life ahead of her full of fun and silliness but in a safe and injury free way!

🐾 Keep up your exercises Hazel and you’ll be a big strong girl in no time 💪🫶💗

🐾 Hey everyone, meet our new friend ‘Ariel’…..actually she’s not new to me because I’ve known her for many years but I have recently started to do Rehab on her as she has recently had an episode which as left her with neurological deficits, particularly her left forelimb has significant delays.

🐾 No formal diagnosis by Vet at this stage but that doesn’t mean we can’t treat what we find, make her more comfortable and help her to learn how to use her body as well as possible and to help her regain muscle mass and strength throughout! 💗

🐾 I’m sure you’ll all be able to see her poor posture in the first pic and then see how relaxed she became during the session and then the 3rd pic you will notice how much happier she looks in herself and how her posture has improved! 😍

🐾 I’m so hopeful that we can get Ariel much more comfortable and with mum doing some daily stretches to begin with, she will be more comfortable in no time 🤗💗

🐾 We’re all here cheering for you beautiful girl! 🫶

I think I’ve been deliberately holding off from letting you all know that our beautiful big girl ‘Thriller’ recently said goodbye to me 🌈 with a gentle kiss on my chin and a facial expression that made me feel as though she was saying to me - ‘don’t be sad, I’ve lived a great life and thanks to you, I lived it with less pain!’ 🫶💔🐾🐾😢

It’s hard to find the words to explain how the old heart is feeling after losing such a beautiful soul and friend. 😢 I guess an emptiness, a void that no other could ever fill - as tears well in my eyes, I thank Thriller and her absolutely amazing fur dad Arthur for opening their hearts and home to me and allowing me to be a part of Thrillers medical care team - I always felt that my thoughts and opinions were considered on all things Miss Thriller which warms my heart and makes me feel appreciated!
My heart is also full at the same time - full of love - full of admiration - full of wonderful, fond memories made with Thriller when looking back and thinking of the big girl…. 🫶💗

Thriller’s body became tired and well I guess that’s to be expected at the good old age of 14yrs and 1mth - this is a massive achievement considering her giant breed status and thinking about all her joint issues.

I’m proud to have been given the opportunity to work with Thrills and I feel my life has improved and my knowledge expanded because of her - she was strong , she was stubborn, she was brave, she had the best smile and most of all, she was a teacher! I’ve learned so much from Thriller - all the challenges over the past 6Yrs or so…🤗🫶

Thriller I know you now have your wings and you’re exactly where you’re meant to be….looking down on dad and making sure his heart doesn’t hold his sadness for too long….you’re soul is free my big girl! Til we meet again 💗🐾🐾

With a very heart I need to inform you - our Chillax family, that our beautiful friend Gilbert recently crossed over 💔

🐾 Gilbert came to me with poor mobility due to Neurological Impairments and he was doing amazingly well….he was able to enjoy his time with old mates at the local dog park once more 🫶
🐾 Gilbert passed away suddenly at home with his beautiful family around him as he took his last breath whilst being held tightly by mum 😢🌈
🐾 I’m already missing him….missing his happiness…missing his smile…missing his happy bark when he knew I’d arrived for his rehab session…missing him demanding more treats 🙈🤣
🐾 Gilbert my friend, you were your family’s protector! I don’t know how many times you saved your family from that crazy post man 😳😬😆
🐾 I know that wherever your soul has gone, you are still watching over your family ❤️ Run like the wind my friend - you will never be forgotten and you will be forever missed 🫶💗
I’m so glad I got to know you and your family - thank you for including me into your family! ❤️

Sharnar and I had the most amazing day today at the Macarthur Gardens Retirement Village - we had the opportunity to meet many very adorable puppers and their human companions….all of whom we could’ve taken home - just beautiful 🤣🫶

🐶 I have for sale 2 Large Snuffle Mats - They are a fantastic boredom buster, great for dogs who suffer separation anxiety as they can keep your pet happily busy and distracted for long periods of time, deters destructive behaviours, they are a great mental stimulation and enrichment exercise as they use their normal doggy behaviours and senses which are stimulated and they are fabulous at slowing your pets eating habits down for those who tend to be scoffers 🙈
You can place dry treats in them or better still, if you feed a dry food you can simply scatter the biscuits throughout the mat and encourage your pet to search for their food! 🤗🎉

Our big girl Thriller turned the big 14 🥳💗🫶
I’m so thrilled to be able to share in your special day 💗
I love it when our puppers defy the odds and well Queen Thriller here smashed the odds given to her….when her dad first offered her a home - her forever home….she was not in a good way and he was told she will likely only live another 6mths…..here the big girl is 6 years on 🤩❤️ This says is all - she’s a fighter, she’s stubborn, she’s affectionate, she’s brave, she’s calming, she brings joy to all those who know her!
Happy Birthday sweet girl 🥳

Uni Vets Camden threw her a spectacular birthday party and she even got a special ride in the Gator directly to the front doors of Caffe 104. She was showered in so much love and kindness and I’m sure it’s a day her dad will remember forever as will Thriller - she just lapped up all the attention as only a queen shall do ❤️🐾🐾

With a very heavy heart I need to let you all know - this stunning boy 'Jink' sadly crossed over 🌈😢❤

🐾 Jink was a very talented, quick-footed agility boy and just loved his nose works too - a super star who always gave 110% in everything he did!

🐾 Jink's body became too tired and weak as his neurological issues from a very degraded spine and severe Osteoarthritis condition within many other limb joints mean't it was his time to say farewell 😢 You played hard my friend as only you crazy Borders know how to do - never say NO! Lol 🫣😁❤

🐾 Jink you had this amazing ability to make us all smile - you will never be forgotten and your go-get-em attitude to everything in life was really inspirational....thanks for the fun memories my friend - you never refused anything we threw at you...you are one very special boy - Now's the time to fly - Be free ❤🐾❤🦅

🐾 Juno just took to the wheels as though they were always mean’t to be and dad was super happy and excited for his baby girl to have her independence back!

Everyone let’s give a nice warm welcome to one of our new Chillax friends ‘Hercules’ 🫶❤️

🐾 Hercules came to me for rehab for pre-op strengthening exercises for his Stifle due to a torn cruciate ligament.
🐾 He healed very well post TPLO surgery on the surgery leg but sadly whilst recovering, he suddenly tore the cruciate ligament on his other leg 🫣🙈

🐾 Hercules had a TPLO surgery on his other rear leg and this too healed really well. He was performing his rehab exercises regularly and was making great progress❣️

🐾 Here’s the lil guy doing his Marching (Weight shifting) exercise with his brothers support 😎😉
He’s out walking the streets regularly also as part of his rehab plan and he’s just absolutely loving life as I’m sure you’ll see from the pics below💗

We recently lost one of our beautiful friend's 'Hunter' ... 🌈❤️
Hunter came to me many years ago with carpal issues - I was then asked to work with him once more as he had a fusion surgery on both wrists so I was helping him to recover with his rehabilitation post surgery.
Hunter was doing amazingly well and it didn't take long for his cheeky & puppy-like nature to shine through which made him an absolute pleasure to work with. He always insisted on doing some fun exercises before he would consider lying down and relaxing for the manual therapies...he made me laugh every time😍
I can't thank his mum and nan enough for opening their home and hearts to me and allowing me to help care for their beautiful boy and I hope they know how much I appreciated their trust in me❣️
🐾 Hunter I'm sure where you now rest, the sun is forever shining on that beautiful face of yours - I know how much you loved to Chillax in the sun and I'm sure there is a never ending supply of treats!
🥰 Thanks for the memories and friendship - you'll never be forgotten 💙
