Pawz N Play can help. There are still some mid week spaces to book in for personalised individual training sessions at your own home..

Pawz N Play are also offering our Puppy Check-in service for those of you who have had to leave your puppies at home and return to work.

We come to your house for an hour, we attend to your puppies water and other tasks you may have for us, then we play with your puppy to get rid of that excess energy that they get. Sending you photos and videos of your puppy while we are there.

We then tuck your little one back up in bed, or the crate or wherever they spend time while you're away, so they can sleep while they are waiting for you to get home.

With so many people getting new puppies for Christmas, there will come a time where you will need to go to work and leave your little one home alone.

That's when the destruction can start, the barking all day, the anxiety traits start kicking in and then these behaviours become hard to handle

Pawz N Play have a solution!
We are offering our newest service PUPPY CHECK INS..

We come to your house and spend an hour with your little one to alleviate the loneliness and boredom.
We send a text photo to you upon arrival, we clean up the crate, we take puppy out for a play and send a cute little video to your phone. Then we pop puppy back to the pen or wherever so they can sleep for a bit while waiting for you to get home...

PUPPY CHECK INS are a life saver when you have these beautiful little fur babies in your home ❤️

Toilet training has got to be one of the most frustrating parts of puppy training...
Doesn't matter which way you choose to train, puppy training pads, or straight to outside, it's something that needs to be consistent.
Remember that your puppy is between 8 - 16 weeks, so they are still a baby..
They will get it, but it takes a bit of time.

It's definitely something I can help you navigate through.

Training puppies can be a lot for some people and I totally understand that. Having a puppy means that you have to put the work in every day.

I've been with this little guy for 2 days now, and he is really grasping the basic commands.
I'm really happy at his progress and his ability to want to work.

I leave this little guy today, and now it's up to his family to keep up the training.

This little guy is so clever. On just a few short interval training sessions over 1 day he has learned to:
Sit
Focus
Drop
Come
And recall.

I have even involved the kids so they know how to use the training cues correctly ❤️

Now all his parents need to do is be consistent with his training on a daily basis ❤️❤️

5 week private puppy/dog training sessions...

My training is a 5 week training course in your own home for an 45 minutes each session

I focus on breed and behavior specific training, so the training is suitable for each dog. I don't follow a cookie cutter approach, because each breed is different.

I look at the family structure and how your puppy fits into your family.
I also look at environmental, where the puppy is expected to spend time sleeping, playing and spending time alone when you are away

I also cover the basics of puppy training, the sit, stay, drop, focus, wait
I can also focus on any walking issues you are experiencing, including the "gear" that you use.

I can include some obedience training in the puppy training course once the basics are covered, so this will start in about week 3

Bookings are limited and mainly mid week at the moment

Cost for this individualised training programme $350.00 for the full course. This covers:
1) 5 x 45 minute private sessions
2) Full intensive intake form which then turns into our weekly training guide
3) Tips and tricks for toilet training, mouthing/jumping
4) What "walking gear" suits you best
5) A full session on dog handling
6) And a focus on the "behaviors" you are wanting to manage

Working with this little cutie today. First training session outside. Heaps of distractions and things to chew on, but we got some great work out of her.

Recall is one of the most important commands that you need to train your dog to do. It can literally save your dogs life if they can come back to you when called instead of running out on the road.
It isnt an easy command to train, but a necessary one
