Over the weekend the team and I went to both Swan hill and Kerang yard dogs trial with everyone working really well. The star was Kelbar Dennis who won the open at Swan hill on Saturday which was not easy with great sheep, great course, great judging and a really strong field of dogs. On Monday we headed over to Kerang where Trappers run Russell made the open final but did have much luck and end up 5 th on some solid sheep. I will like to thank everyone for the hard work to make these trials run so smoothly it was fantastic, the judges it was a top effort with some big days, my fellow competitors there was some amazing stockmenship shown by all and cloe for driving me everywhere.

Thanks to Coolynn collars for keeping the dogs looking sharp with some fantastic collars.

Giving the gang a feed the other night at lucindale

I couldn’t be more happier with our team of dogs on the weekend. Skyblue Connie coming 3rd in the novice at the SE field day and her son Kelbar Dennis made 2nd in the novice championship challenge but the star of the show was Kamarooka Jack who managed to win the novice Championship Challenge, the open and the South Australia yard dog state championship. So pleased with this dog he give me 110% at work all week and is more the competitive on the weekend. Cloe and I are super pleased with the rest of the team also with Kelvale Jazz (who only missed the top 10 by half a point), Trappers Run Russell and Kelbar Dennis also making the top 25 of the championship.
On Sunday we attended one of our local trials at Beaufort show where Skyblue Connie won the novice on some very tricky sheep and Kelbar Dennis won the open.
We would just like to thank everyone at both Lucindale and Beaufort for the effort in setting up such great trials and I would like to thank everyone for the help and support over the years to make me the trialler that I have become and to my beautiful wife for the motivation to get off my butt and train my dogs and go to so many trials.
