THE Bot Fly Experience...

How to stay Confident and in Control and your horse stay Confident and in Control when dealing with a persistent Bot Fly!

Oh dear I mention the rider was ba****ck and riding in a halter!

HUGE, Melissa... you stayed Calm and listened to Neil's voice, helping Dreamer respond rather than react to the situation!

Practical, doable and usable skills we all need when riding horses here in Oz!

So many wonderful stories from our Control and Confidence Clinic over the weekend... another chapter tomorrow.

Confidence Issues...

It doesn't matter if you are young or aged, small or big, if you have a pony or a percheron.....

Understanding your horses needs and also your nature,
will help you develop skills to be able to have a conversation with your horse in a language they understand.

Carrots don't solve issues, around safety, confidence, control and trailer loading!

Knowledge and developing skills to speak in your horse's language will!

Heading into our final Control and Confidence Clinic for 2024 this coming weekend... everyone is getting ready to arrive on Friday night... fun times, horse time... see you all soon!

Ba****ck Riding...

As with all things in life our timing is important. Being guided in this process when we are on the Confidence and Control journey is a HUGE liberation... for us - but even more so for our horse!

We take more time, we are may more polite, more present, when we have no saddle or bridle on our horses... if only we could ride like we are ba****ck when we do use our tack!!

Having 'ba****ck' conversations with your horse at the time, will enable BOTH of you to grow in confidence leading to partnership, harmony and even some FUN!

Conversations with horses...

We learn how to have a conversation with our horse to get them thinking down to their feel while feeling calm, centred and good about themselves.

It's interesting how becoming thoughtful about how our horse feel, also helps us understand ourselves better, our strengths and our challenges.
