🌞🐾 Warning: Protect Your Pets from Heat Stroke This Summer! 🐾🌞
Australia's summer heat is here, and our furry friends need extra care in this scorching weather. Heat stroke is a serious and life-threatening condition, and pets are especially vulnerable.
🔴 Signs of Heat Stroke in Pets:
Excessive panting or drooling
Rapid or irregular breathing
Weakness or lethargy
Vomiting or diarrhoea
Bright red or pale gums
Confusion or unsteady movements
💡 How to Help:
Always provide access to fresh water.
Avoid walking your pet on hot pavement—walk early or late in the day.
Keep pets inside during the hottest part of the day (usually 11 am - 4 pm).
Never leave pets in a hot car, even for a minute!
If you notice any signs of heat stroke, immediately move your pet to a cool area, offer water, and contact your vet for emergency care.
Stay safe and keep your pets cool! 🐶🐱🐰🐹🦜🐓🐾
