It was Joy and Charlie's turn for an excursion last week. It was great to see them enjoying themselves out and about.
Joy, in particular, is really showing us that she will have the makings of a great kids pony in the future.

With all the damp weather we've had this week, we decided to take Luca and Satin out to explore off property. We feel it's important that our horses are confident out and about, as well as at home.
Both of them really enjoyed experiencing a new environment and it was really great to see Luca so bold and interested in all the new things.
Young horses are so inquisitive and for him to get experience floating to new places and being allowed to explore new things is going to set him up for a great future.

Last week part of the Volér team had the opportunity to attend the Mastery of the Horse at the Australian Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast. The event ran for three days consisting of five highly knowledgeable presenters who were not only educational but quite entertaining. Each presenter was able to showcase their discipline whilst educating the audience on how basic skills link each of the disciplines together. The event gave our team great insight into how we can improve our horsemanship in our work as well as learning how to gain that deeper bond with our horses.
All in all the event was extremely beneficial for our team and it has brought light to the fact that there is always a positive change to be made.

Earlier this year the JDRF Blue Army held their JUMP challenge to raise awareness and funding for research for Type 1 diabetes.
120,000+ Australians live with T1D and Volér Equestrian was proud to donate to this amazing cause and support this challenge in the hopes for a cure in the future. JDRF Australia

Meet Luca
A handsome palomino, high percentage partbred Arabian c**t, expected to mature large galloway/small hack. This fancy boy has so much going for him that it's hard to fit in one post!

If you're looking for a pretty boy with a fun personality then he's the guy for you.

Luca has a huge future ahead of him and we are looking for his perfect person. He is by Eastwinds Care to Dance out of El Zahabi Selene, born December 2022. He will be registered AHSA and Dilutes. He has been professionally handled since birth. We believe that the early years are so important and all of our foals are well handled and exposed to a range of situations to set them up for success later in life. Luca will be available after weaning.

Today we welcome home our fourth broodmare.

Shout out to Todd Waters Rural contracting for all of his hard work on our facilities upgrades over the past few weeks. Mares and foals won't know themselves in their beautiful new paddocks!

We decided to introduce Charlie to the tarp.... it was uneventful! Exactly the way we like it!

Desensitising is such a huge part of our training method at Volér. We like our babies to feel safe and confident in our handling. Not a lot phases them.
