This one lady showed up at the clinic and was so happy and proud to see what was being done for the animals.

She said it’s good to see everyone working together and being so welcoming to anyone that walks in. A community feeling.

We had people bringing in their animals and wanting to stay to help set up and help carry animals. That’s what we wanted. Get the community envolved.

Not everyone can be a part of what’s happening with the animals at the clinic, so when others offer to help with laundry or to help with snacks or wanting to donate cleaning stuff or even bringing water for our team, then you know you’re making a difference💕

Locks4paws together with Operation Cunucu Care will be in Madiki tomorrow at 5pm to help the owners by handing out dogfood and catfood.

‼️UPDATE - a HUGE thank you to Tammy, Angela, Kathryn, Michelle and Linda among all the other wonderful Luna angels for donating towards and purchasing cages - we were able to get 5!!!‼️

Now that we have seen the reaction Paws Uni Aruba is triggering on our island we need to purchase a few things to be able to close the circle.
We now realize that locals are responsible enough to bring their animals to get fixed. They just need the extra push, help and understanding.

There are a few cases that the owners can’t bring their animals because they are too big or too wild or even not socialized enough. That’s where trap cages are needed.

Leaning on one group that owns cages to constantly help with all that’s happening on the island isn’t realistic.

We as Luna have 2 dog trap cages, our sister rescue that’s part of PUA has several cat traps and one of our other cat rescue sisters has cat traps as well. What we as a United force would love to achieve is to have 10 dog traps in total.

In Madiki we are making what we have work the best we can and those living in Madiki are helping 100%💕

If you can help us to achieve 8 more cages and have them delivered to a certain address, that would help our animals and us immensely.

If you’re interested let us know below and we can send the link (so you can purchase them yourself) and the address as to where to have them delivered so they can come to us. Your name will be added to the cage before it’s used (or it can also be in memory of one of your pets).
