In the quaint town of Torfaen, UK, Tubby, the spirited Labrador Retriever, had an extraordinary mission – reducing his "carbon paw print." On each walk, he transformed into a plastic bottle detective, sniffing out discarded bottles throughout the town.

With a crunch in his mouth, Tubby would proudly present his plastic conquests to Sandra Gilmore, his eco-conscious owner, who diligently recycled each one. Over six years, Tubby's eco-friendly escapades amounted to an estimated 26,000 recycled water bottles from his twice-daily walks. Some even believe his lifetime tally could soar as high as 50,000 bottles.

For his exceptional dedication, Tubby earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records, rightfully crowned as the "Most Bottles Recycled by a Dog." A true canine champion for a greener world. 🌍🐾

As I stood there, patiently awaiting my friend at the money booth, I glanced to my right and discovered a delightful sight. A tiny head emerged from the gap in a pile of boxes—a sweet, white kitty curiously peering out. In that magical moment, I couldn't resist capturing the innocence and charm with a photo. Thank you, little one; your adorable face became the unexpected source of joy that brightened my day.

Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Warhol became famous for his unique approach to art, which blurred the boundaries between high and low culture. He was not only a painter but also a filmmaker, author, and a key figure in the development of the art scene in New York City during the 1960s.

While Warhol is not particularly known for a specific focus on cats in his art, he did create pieces that featured animals, and cats occasionally appeared in his works. His approach to cats, like other subjects, was characterized by his use of repetition and vibrant colours. The way he depicted cats was consistent with his overall artistic philosophy, often incorporating them into his exploration of popular culture and consumerism.

One notable work that includes a cat is "25 Cats Named Sam and One Blue P***y" (c. 1954). This illustrated book was a collaboration between Warhol and his mother, Julia Warhola. It featured hand-coloured lithographs of cats, each with a different name. This early work showcased Warhol's playful and whimsical side, providing a glimpse into the artist's broader range of interests beyond the more famous aspects of his career.

Warhol's legacy continues to influence contemporary art, and his exploration of everyday subjects, including animals like cats, remains an interesting aspect of his diverse body of work.

He said, ''His name is Guru; people here know him by that name''; these are his puppies. I asked him what that puppy's name was whom he was petting; he looked at the puppy and said, ''His name is Krishno''

He takes care of these puppies; he gets chicken bones and leftover food from food carts and restaurants; and there is a bowl of water he keeps for the puppies to drink.

Expressing love and care for animals doesn't have to be complicated; it's about using what you have. Sometimes, even a little effort is enough to form a friendship with them.
