*Meeting on Exchange of Views Regarding “Social, Economic and Environmental Development”*

ACME arranged a meeting on the exchange of views regarding “Social, Economic and Environmental Development” on March 02, 2024 in the SOJAG training center at Dhamrai, Dhaka where all branch managers & other related personnel’s of SOJAG and concerned officials of ACME, including Mr. Md. Hasibur Rahman, Additional Deputy Managing Director of ACME, and Mr. Abdul Matin, Founder Director & CEO of SOJAG were present. The aim of this exchange of views was to introduce and promote a sustainable approach through ‘Circular Livestock Agriculture’ and ‘Veterinary health care services’. “Circular Livestock Agriculture” model will convert farm waste to scientific composting like vermicompost, biocompost, etc. that will improve soil health & increase profits for the farmer. This collaborative partnership activity will initially uplift 20,000 farmers and 200 LSP through regular training on scientific husbandry practices and ensuring easy access to quality medicines. ACME discussed the “Vet Health” app to connect rural farmers for establishing the Farmer’s Connectivity Platform and providing free Veterinary services where government Veterinary services are absent.

*Signing of Collaborative Partnership Agreement in between ACME & SOJAG (NGO) on Social, Economic and Environmental Development*

ACME signed an agreement with SOJAG regarding “Social, Economic and Environmental Development” on February 04, 2024. SOJAG, a leading and renowned NGO located in Dhamrai Upazilla of Dhaka, has been engaged in different socio-economic development activities since 1986. This collaborative partnership agreement was signed by Mr. Md. Hasibur Rahman, Additional Deputy Managing Director on behalf of ACME and Mr. Abdul Matin, Founder Director & CEO on behalf of SOJAG with the presence of their representatives at corporate office of ACME. This collaborative partnership activities involving primarily 20000 livestock farmer and 200 livestock service provider (LSP) for enhancing their knowledge & skills on climate-smart, nature-positive, circular livestock farming and to provide free Veterinary health care services using online platform. In project areas, ACME & SOJAG will uplift farmers by providing education and imparting training on scientific animal husbandry practices to reduce production costs for profitable livestock farming. This collaborative partnership agreement will also address AMR threats for reducing health hazard of animal, human & environment for the wellbeing of farmers, consumers and whole country.
