You may have seen the harrowing scenes of the house fire and explosion near Asda in Halifax. We wish all the residents, especially the 3 people taken to hospital the very best.
We were contacted about 2 dogs who had been displaced overnight who were of course tired, confused and hungry.
So we sprang in to action, gather a bag of goodies for each dog and delivering them to the lovely staff who were looking after 6 affected households at the Calderdale Transport Depot. And all in time for breakfast!
The older dogs, a lovely little JRT, Penny, and sweet, happy Staffy, Lady, were very interested especially with the toys!
Hopefully they will be back at home later today but for now they have what they need. For all animal lovers, we know often their well being comes before our own, so it gave a little peace of mind to their peeps, in a very tough situation. ❤️

While I'm sure a lot of us were melting in the heat today, Felicity and Freddie completed the Junior Warrior course! Such an amazing effort from both of them!
The final total will be announced in a few days, but a HUGE thank you to them, the others who joined them and the whole Adams family for choosing Mabel's Meals as one of two recipients for the money they've raised,with Freddie's local junior Rugby team receiving the other half! 😍

Lots of luck to Freddie and Felicity who are taking on the Junior Warrior race tomorrow! They have chosen us as one of the recipients of the funds they raise! 😁
They will take on a 3k run with obstacles - ‘Muddy Mayhem’, ‘Canopy Climb’ and the awesome new ’Slideaway’ to name a few and will have to run, climb, jump, crawl and slide there way around 15 Challenging Obstacles.
We wish them every luck and hope it's more fun than hard! ❤️

A fabulous first evening of our MM Crafter's Club who chatted and crafted their way though the meet.
Lots of amazing products that have and are already being made but also lots of chats about collaborations, creating a range of attractive products, how to subsidise costs and more.
We've a new What's App group already to help Craft Lead Sharon and the team keep in touch while we've also agreed to hold a monthly get together to create and promote our group.
I'll add those who sent apologies too.
This group will be key in supporting fundraising over winter, so if you'd like to know more, please just get in touch. 😊

Thanks so much to Ian for all his hard work today!
Not only did he give out 50 food bags at Todmorden Food Drop In, in a world record time of 45 minutes... 💪
But he also called at Jollyes Halifax - The Pet People to collect 40 boxes of food and two 15kg bags of kibble - all from donations to our charity from their fabulous customers. Thanks to them, the Jollyes team, especially Megan in the pic and Zoe who coordinated the collection.
That's enough meat for more than 93 food parcels! ❤️
