বিড়ালরা হিটে থাকলে সাধারণত কিছু নির্দিষ্ট আচরণ করে

★ বিড়ালরা বেশি বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ হয়ে ওঠে, ঘষাঘষি করে, গড়াগড়ি করে এবং মনোযোগ চায়।

★ তারা শরীর নিচু করে, পেছনের অংশ উঁচু করে রাখে এবং লেজ একপাশে রাখে। অনেক সময় জননাংগ চাটতে থাকে।

★ সাধারণের চেয়ে বেশি ও জোরে মিউ করে।

★ নিজেদের উপস্থিতি অন্য বিড়ালদের জানানোর জন্য প্রস্রাব ছিটায়। ছেলে বিড়াল সাধারণত এটি বেশি করে থাকে

★ সুযোগ পেলেই বাইরে যাওয়া অথবা জানালা দিয়ে বাইরে লাফ দিয়ে বের হবার চেষ্টা করে।
