Anyone being familiar with making a new insta page?
Trying to make a new personal account. Now finally after a few attempts I was able to make a name but when I want to open the account it's always flashing around saying 'try again later' like to whole screen is going black and white.
My husband had the same problem earlier and this for his second account..

I called her 'Wahine' to stay in line with the parents 🙈

I didn't have the best morning..
Sadly Concrete decided to go to the gecko heaven.
She and Fire are my oldest crested, also my first ones.
She was about 10 years old now.
I always said I would keep her and Fire until their last days, but coming to this moment.. it hurts a lot.
She was the gecko I always handled when people came around because she was so easy handling and very gentle.
Will miss her! But hope she likes those green leaves and big branches in gecko heaven ❤️RIP

Sadly with a heavy heart my vet informed me this morning Fiona didn't make it through the night.
We took her to the vet last week on Monday where they discovered eggbound (she was paired 4 weeks before with Thunder for her first season). Also she was breathing heavily and with the surgery they found out she had fluid on her lungs which they tried to remove. They immediately started antibiotics but with the few days past there was no progression.
Sadly she passed away this night :(
Sad part of breeding and keeping animals.
It's always painful to loose an animal and it's always heavy to think you maybe could have done more..
But I know she had the best vet treatment and I was fast to bring her in.

Hi guys
Sorry for not being active the last couple of days.
I've been literally down for about 3 days, I couldn't function due to flu. Sadly that got me an infection on my lungs today which I'm hardly recovering from.

I've never been this sick in my life and it's the first time I'm feeling my body also has his limits.
Mostly I'm always the one pushing through but here is the afterparty off all that .. bluhhh.. :(

The day after..

As some of you might have read. I had a pretty rough day yesterday..
Houten expo was super exhausting and it was again an 'in your face' how the market is going nowadays.
Is it different from other years? No..
I am breeding for a couple of years now and the wholesale, gutloaded cheap animals were always there.
Has it became worse.. somehow yes.. the amount are bigger, the tags are cheaper.
What I noticed the last couple of years in positive way is that there is a much better community. I see more good breeders coming together, sharing tables, sharing videos and photos of each other. This is something upcoming more and I'm super positive about it!
Beside that it also has become a more online thing. Instagram is needed to re-home animals, it takes a lot of time and effort.
If I'm honest the online part makes me moody. I go easily down as I come up. Yesterday was a big down. Today's going better.

I have been thinking alot to stop the last year. The Family - work - gecko combination makes me super exhausting, making that I mostly affect it to the family. What gives me a more negative feeling towards everything.
I feel like a failing mother..

But working with the geckos today, seeing these little geckos from 2023 season. I mean they are pretty dark.. and spotted and this is only my second season for the dark x superdalmatian project.
I should be proud and move on and just enjoy the lineage I build and the new lineage people bring to me!

It's a from the heart message to everyone. And I spoke many of you with the same feeling sadly. But as I said we are now a community who needs to stick together and talk to those who suffers from a bad day to make the next day better. Because many of you did this for me.
Mostly I am not the person putting this on my socials but the people who reached out to me yesterday.. thank you, thank you all! It is because of your nice words, your time and your kindness I'm the one feeling better today. So let's talk, when you have a bad day! Because I am here for you too!❤️

Happy new year and best wishes for 2024!

2024 means 10 years Repti Diamonds. Time flies!
As I already mentioned earlier I will do a give away pretty soon, in a couple of days.

But 2024 is also a year I promised myself to spend more time with my family. Spending time with my kids as they grow up to fast.
Time to change plans and let go some more breeders.
I will make a new announcement coming week with more info on that part.

Last thing I want to thank everyone who helped me, bought some animals, talked with me,.. through all these years already!
