✨ Flanders horse Expo 2024✨

The last competition for the indoor team. The last time they could give their all and rock the track . Which resulted in a first place . 🥇🏆
They enjoyed it , and so did we. 💥🤟🏻

Well and nicely organized by Glenn Geerts and his team. 👏🏻This tastes like more , and bigger for next year ? We hope so !

The horses are now enjoying their necessary rest. 🌱 They have more than earned it.
And hopefully ... again a team for the worldcup 2024-2025. 🤞🏻

We are ready for the outdoor season ,starting in April . 🤝🏻

𝗩𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 '𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺': 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗸 🇧🇪

Ik ben Dries Degrieck, 29 jaar en geboren en getogen te Erpe-Mere (Ottergem). Het mennen is mij al bekend sinds zolang ik weet, ik ben er zowat mee opgegeroeid. Mijn vader heeft altijd vierspan gereden, alsook deelgenomen aan nationale wedstrijden. Hier ging ik als kind altijd al mee naar toe.

Al snel had ik deze microbe ook te pakken en kreeg ik mijn eerste pony. Ik leerde eerst rijden onder het zadel en van zodra ik oud genoeg was, ging ik over tot mennen. Eerst enkelspan, nadien tandem en als snel schakelde ik over tot vierspan.

Sedert mijn 18de maak ik onafgebroken deel uit van het Belgische team. Ondertussen wist ik ook al snel dat ik hiermee verder wou gaan, en ik van mijn hobby mijn beroep wou maken. In de stallen van mijn vader is alles begonnen. Van startende hoefsmid, tot het kopen en verkopen van de eerste paarden. Dit in combinatie met het mennen.

Ondertussen heb ik mijn eigen trainingsstal en probeer ik verder te groeien om mijn weg te vinden tussen alle grote namen binnen de mensport.

✨ WC Final Bordeaux 2024✨

This after a wonderful season, we once again gave our all during the final . 💥 The horses performed just perfectly . 🤝🏻 It’s so nice to see how they/we have developed through the season !

All times were very close to each other . Unfortunately 1 ball kept us from a podium place . A bit disappointed but that is sports too. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The preparations for the outdoor season are in full swing . We are looking forward to it ! 🙌🏻

✨Jumping Mechelen 2023✨

Always something special to ride in front of “your own public “.🤩

After a first disappointing warm-up we wanted to prove that we could do much better. And so we did the next day. Our horses fought like lions. 🦁🦁🦁🦁

It looked like we would get into the drive off . Eventually ,We finished 4th in this incredibly strong field of competitors . 💪🏻
Even we ended just out off the top 3 . We’re still very happy and proud of how the horses again have given everything.💥

‼️With this performance we were able to get our ticket for the finals in Bordeaux . 🇫🇷🥳‼️

Through this way we want to thank everyone who helped and encouraged us on the sidelines and behind the scenes. Also these results are all thanks to you ! 🙏🏻

During day 1 , only 0,17 seconds difference with the first place. 🫣

✨European Championships -Exloo 2023✨

1 week after the European Championships in Exloo , but we’re not sitting still. 🏃🏼‍♂️

Our 5 champions are already enjoying their well-deserved rest in the field .🌱🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴

Exloo , another great competition.
It was a make or break .

Friday started with an 8th place in the dressage . Nice test without any mistakes.

Saturday marathon . We had to find our feet a bit during the first obstacles . Once we found our drive , we were off .
Just outside top10

Sunday cones . A nice and smooth course that we were able to finish clear and in a short time .

We finished on the 10th place in the final ranking and in 3rd place with the Belgian team. 🥉🇧🇪Mission accomplished!

We returned home with a good feeling. 🙌🏻

✨Chio Aachen 2022✨

Once again, a wonderful competition. 🙌🏻

Thursday a good dressage test . This was good for an 8th place. 🤩
Friday “ grab the points" . Not bad and especially a good warm-up for the cones on Sunday .

Saturday , marathon day . Good marathon, until obstacle 7. Unfortunately we got stuck and lost almost 1 minute …. This moves us from the 8th place , to a 15th place . This was a huge disappointment !!

Sunday cones . New line-up in the team. This ran smoothly and well. One ball and some time . Good for an 11th place.
No more movement in the standings and so we ended CHIO Aachen with a 15th place.
Satisfied how our horses went, unfortunately the marathon killed us but that's sport ... Sometimes you win , sometimes you lose. 🙃🙂

Fortunately, we were able to finish the competition with a 3rd place with the Belgian team.🥉🇧🇪

On to Beekbergen at the end of this month.

✨The Royal Windsor Horse Show 2022, What a week it was ! ✨

Through the rain , but also some sunlit moments .

Friday a beautiful 5th place in dressage .
Saturday a tough but beautiful marathon. Good for a 6th place and a provisional 4th place in the ranking .

Sunday a difficult cone course on the program . Very sharp time and many turns. Unfortunately 2 balls and some time penalty. Good for a 5th place.

We end on a 6th place in the standings between all the big players. 🤟🏻

But what makes the event complete, is a 1st place with the Belgian team ! 🥇🇧🇪
