🏁 Our new racetrack is ready for use! The first horses have just run their rounds for a Lactate Threshold Test at the beginning of their training or competition season.
The lactate threshold is the exercise intensity at which lactate (a byproduct of anaerobic metabolism) begins to accumulate in the blood at a faster rate than it can be cleared.
🤎 By tracking the heartrate, speed & taking blood samples after every intensity increasement we measure the muscle efficiency, endurance and maximum power output and determine where and how to enhance this. The test is crucial for understanding a horse’s endurance capabilities to:

👉🏻 Monitor fitness progress
