Project • 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓜𝓾𝓼𝓮𝓾𝓶

Finally I took the time to go to the museum and snap some more photos of my work there! 📷

As most of you know I’ve been working on renovating the local forest museum for the past few months together with my boyfriend, forest rangers & other forest workers. Earlier this month we finished it and had our first few visitors come take a look. I’m now finally sharing some photos online & also will be uploaded a reel shortly after this post goes live, so definitely go check that out as well! 🦊

I made around 30 paintings for this project, including lots of animals as well as a mural, pond and more! Besides that I also selected & bought taxidermy for the museum, decorated the reading nook and night area upstairs and filled the display cabinet with over 100 native butterflies and insects! 🦋🪲

My boyfriend & the others also worked so incredibly hard, making everything out of wood from the forest itself; such as stairs, the display cabinet and more. They also brought in real trees to truly bring the forest inside the museum! We hid 7 taxidermy animals inside the branches of those very trees to make it a fun game of hide-and-seek! And a fun fact being that some of those animals originally come from the museum before it closed in 2001! 🦉

It truly was a joy to create such a magical place for children and adults to visit, and I cannot wait until it officially opens to all forest visitors in the near future. Definitely do come visit when you’re around, it’s worth it!

Can’t believe we’re already nearing the end of 2024! Here’s an overview of the last 3 events I’ll be attending before the year’s over! 🫶🏻🤍

November 2 & 3 you can find me at Facts in Ghent! Definitely a staple con for me that I’ve been attending for years now! Come find us at the (probably hidden again) artist alley to be the first to discover my new fall collection! 🍂

November 23 & 24 I’ll be in Utrecht again at my favorite event! Nina and I can’t wait to see you all again and bring along lots of pretty things to make your romantic hearts full! 🍁 And yes at this con I’m also planning on bringing some fall themed creations!

December 14 & 15 I’m staying close to home and will be attending yet another edition of this spooky con! 🦇 The easiest way to find me? Just search for the light between all the other dark booths! Can’t wait to bring some special butterflies, moths, insects & other things alike to Genk with me!

The week after the Duystere Markt I’m planning on updating my webshop with all creations that are left from the three events mentioned above. I’m going to do my best to get everything ready and going by the evening of December 17, so that hopefully some things will still arrive in time for Christmas or New Year’s! 🫶🏻

𝓝𝓸𝓽𝓮: I packed my schedule a little full with my tattoo apprenticeship added to this as well as the forest museum I’m currently working on. So please be extra patient & friendly with me the upcoming months as it will be an extremely busy and stressful time. Because of being so busy I’m not yet sure how many creations I’ll be able to make for each event, so it might occur that I won’t bring as much along as usually — especially when it comes to bigger taxidermy pieces. Thanks for understanding! 🤍

Finally getting to posting my flash designs on my profile! I’ve been teasing them for the past few weeks, and am finally taking the time to properly photograph & share them with you all! 🫶🏻

These are all for my apprenticeship’s first task! Unfortunately you won’t be able to claim any of these designs yet to get tattooed, but when the time’s there I’ll of course let you all know!
