For the "Belgian Stafford athletics" BSA that will be held on 7-8 & 9 June 2025 in Leopoldsburg Belgium we have not one but two judges for the show part.
After they judged the Dutch Stafford Athletics in 2014, we thought it would be nice to bring these two big names back together 10 years later.
It took some time and effort, but we are pleased to announce the next judge team.....
Bev Harrison (UK) & Julien Eurlings (BE).
Julien Eurlings from Belgium who has been known for more than 30 years with "Of Lanaca Staffs" OLS, Julien is also a former board member of "SBT Belgium branch" and judged on different locations in Belgium & Netherland.
Julien has already done the show part during the BSA 2024 so we are very pleased to welcome him back for the BSA 2025 and teaming up whit Bev Harrison.
Bev Harrison is renowned for her affix "Trawden", originally belonging to her mother from the late 60s. She has shown a profound love and dedication towards Staffordshire Bull Terriers since the early 80s, obtaining her first Staffords from her sister. She began judging this breed in 1987 and has been a championship show judge since 2007. Additionally, she has played a significant role in the Staffordshire Bull Terrier community, compiling and publishing "The SBT Annual" for 27 years and editing "The North West Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Golden Jubilee Book" in 1996.
Harrison has judged at numerous championship shows in the UK, including Richmond (2007), Driffield (2009), NCSBTC Dogs (2016), NWSBTC Bi***es (2017), SSBTC Dogs (2019), and Bournemouth (2022). Currently, she is campaigning Ch Trawden Ice And Spice JW and Trawden Ice Cool, alongside her friend Jane, and has bred or owned an additional 14 stud book numbers.
Her judging expertise extends beyond the UK, having judged at international events in countries such as Belgium, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Australia, Brazil, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Norway, and South Africa. In Spain, she judged an entry of 160 in 2011, and in Australia, an impressive entry of 246 in 2012.
Over the years, Harrison has owned or bred 13 Staffordshire Bull Terriers with stud book numbers, including notable ones such as Copper Girl, Jon El Sullivan, Wychwood Gypsy, Trawden Copper Boy at Donnellas, Yorkstaffs Guy Fawkes of trowden, among others. Lastly, she is scheduled to judge at the UK WKC in 2025
