It’s pretty cool when you see the multiple different horses you’ve trained ending up in the top three with their differing riders!

Katie had such a lovely move up to beginner Novice!! Beautiful riding!!!congrats my friend😀ending second is always a plus!!

And Time…. He gets more skilled by the day. Actually, if I’m honest, I’d say it’s just growing arrogance lol.

A great day for us! Our first show of the season and while there were plenty of cobwebs and improvements to be made, Ashley on Boogs won, Time won and Lira was winning when she and katie had differing opinions on speed and she pulled one rail to finish 5th!

Dish was soooo good at Regionals! She is better in the show ring than out of it. She tries so hard. A 67% won it and we scored a 60% and there were plenty in the 50,s!!! It was a tough class with seriously flash horses and well known and quality riders and I was pleased to not embarrass ourselves in that company😀I watched a lot and was once again impressed by the exacting standard necessary to be competitive. I’m glad we went and look forward to the CBLM’s.

It’s been a busy few weeks here. We took a full load of horses to Dunmovin and had a busy but good time! Alexa handled the orange explosion (aka Hailey) with such finesse! Her fancy trot work was drool worthy. The changes were expressive!! Lira and Katie W started out great and then got even better!!! Jack with me on him for Katie GS was correct and awesome and scored in the 70’s! Dish did her schooling test for her bigger shows.

Lira ( outspoken ) and katie W not only won their event division yesterday but what did so with proper and correct adjustability ! Katie has worked unbelievably hard in such a short period of time to get the relationship with Lira solid to become her fun, safe and partner for the future and it’s exciting to watch the progress!  As with many mares, lira will try 1000% for you once you establish your relationship, but she certainly isn’t going to be easy about the establishing part and it takes a real horseman (seriously have to forget your ego and emotions !) to get this done! I’m really proud of Katie!!

Had a fantastic day yesterday! Jack, owned by Katie was superb! He’s jumping round, relaxed, adjustable with clever & precise foot work. He makes the balance necessarily for the terrain easy! His dressage is jaw dropping. I can’t wait for Katie to enjoy him!

Sincere congratulations to Katie Whisenant (and Outspoken) on her clear jump rounds, as well as successful dressage tests scoring mid-60s on an extremely hormonal mare! Your rides were filled with tact, compassion and excellent horsemanship. I think great things are to come with this partnership!

Also congratulations to katie Schaffer (Jack/Falcor) not only on his fabulous Jump rounds but on his scoring Dressage , High Point, and winning his name, engraved on an enormous trophy!  I think any doubts or reservations anyone had on Jack’s ability to be the horse you have always believed he could be were put to bed today!  a very exciting horse for the future!

Today was a good day to be a horse trainer in my world!

Four 8’s and a 9 on Boogs Dressage test today! And yes, he was leading. Good boy! Unfortunately too hot to run Cc on a horse who doesn’t release heat well (not to mention the rider😬)!

So excited! This is our second rated show for Prix St. George, and we got our last score necessary for our USDF silver medal! Thank you so much Karen Reilly for all of your help. I could (obviously) not have done it without you. Mostly of course thank you to my wonderful friend RF Outlandish who is one special gal❤️❤️

Both of our first PSG. This is such a nice horse. Plenty of mistakes on my part but none on hers. every time I get to go dance with her it’s a lovely experience.
We had our first lesson since last August six days earlier😀

Better late than never! TK sport horses had a fun first schooling show down in Maryland with both Boogs and Time finishing on their Dressage scores. Boogs looked pretty in his blue ribbon and Time was quite dapper in his red ribbon. The dancing Queen, Dish gets to go out this weekend for a schooling show. Really looking forward to it.

35 mile an hour winds, an airborne Liverpool, a rolling barrel and they jumped it all😀Wanted, Time and Boogs showed their steadiness today! Great new course and awesome horses! Smiling all day despite avoiding being blown to bits….March is schizophrenic weather month…..
