“Aashraya," the community project, dream home that aims to become a reality in all cities of the country. ASCP is a cement structure, portable with the help of special equipments.
The project is a modular concept intended to replace the concept of shelters homes and feeding campaigns.

Over one lakh street animals are there in Nepal, and it is nearly impossible for one or group of organizations to care for all of them. Aashraya is a community effort that enlists the aid of Nepali animal welfare organizations in order to urge local people of the community to care for the street animals.

The Asharya Project has been started in Dharan City to help the city's stray animals by giving them food, housing, and medical attention.
The project not only aims to help street animals, but also to reduce land pollution by encouraging people to feed dogs in asharays instead roadsides. When dogs have a place to dwell, the number of traffic accidents will reduce as well.

The project was officially inaugurated by Former Princess Kritika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, Former Princess Purnika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, and Ms. Shreeyukta Shah, all members of Nepal's Former Royal Family.

Former Princess Purnika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, Aatmoutsarga’s Goodwill Ambassador, and other former royal family members have demonstrated outstanding support for Nepal's street animals.

Mr. Dal Bahadur Karki, the chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Ward No. 30, made a disheartening statement. First and foremost, as a politician and a leader, he should have been familiar with Nepal's animal laws. The Aatmoutsarga team would like to advise him to go and check the laws. In addition, leaders are people who set an example for society, and people are considered to be humans when they treat all living things with respect.

The higher positions come with higher responsibility, but it appears that Mr. Karki prefers the simplest route over accepting responsibility for upholding the country’s law. Killing any living being is not a solution; he needs to retract his statement right once and post an apologetic video.

They have been helplessly crying for some care and affection. Aatmoutsarga believes in providing them their rights and we keep fighting for them. Aatmoutsarga believes in bringing changes in the society and we have initiated this journey through Animal Welfare.
On 15th May 2022, Aatmoutsarga conducted DHPPL vaccination program covering the Diseases : Distemper (D), Hepatitis (H), Parvovirus (P), Parainfluenza (P) and Leptospirosis (L), along with awareness, feeding and placing reflective belts Programme in Lalitpur City.
This is one of our ways to help them and aware society about their standing. We will keep walking this path of animal welfare and we expect a lot of support from our members, volunteers and supporters. THANK YOU!!!

Update on Imadol Case -25,000/- Reward for finding out the culprit.

As most you might be aware about the brutal killing that occurred in Imadol in March 2022. We were able to pin the crime to Gyan Bahadur Bika of Megdi district, however, this culprit has been missing in action since the incident.
We would like to assure our supporters that the Jawalakhel, Satdobato Police Station and our team have put in our full effort to find him, but alas, his number has been switched off and untraceable.
Now, it's time we rise up to the occasion and therefore we call on you for your help. We have printed around 1,000 flyers which we are planning to post at various locations in Lalitpur, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur area. Please help us spread the word and call us with any information you might have regarding Gyan Bahadur Bika. His last known location was in Bhaktapur.

This is the time to let it be known that animal brutality is not accepted in our society. Let’s make a change and get justice for Kaale.

Introducing 'Aatmoutsarga Street Community Project' Aashray 3D Model which will be launched all over Nepal. The project has been initiated with the thought to replace SHELTHER HOMES and FEEDING CAMPAIGNS creating an ecosystem where humans and animals co exisit. ASCP has been planned with the major goal to provide basic necessities of food, shelter and water for the street animals with the help of community people. With our vision, all of these necessities for street animals will be fulfilled in one particular place. All the people from the community will be encouraged to feed strays and run cleaning campaigns in their areas. The Ashrayas will be built on government lands throughout Nepal and further, it will help us to control accidents since dogs would not be roaming in the middle of the roads and pollution too will be controlled when people will keep their leftover food in these ashrays instead of giving on roadside. AATMS, are looking forward to work together with the government authorities and community people in this project. All the suppport, feedbacks and suggestions are highly appreciated. THANKYOU!

Saving Humanity and serving souls is one of the main objective of Aatmoutsarga. Working for welfare of animals feels peaceful and we are living for that. Ever since we started serving the street animals, the soul satisfaction has reach a new height and we are determined in continuing this.

On 24th December, 2021 Aatmoutsarga organized Grand Event on Shyumbhunath area crossover of feeding, vaccinating, first aid treatment, deworming and reflective belts placement. In the mere span of two hours, we were successful in feeding around 500 plus dogs, cats and monkeys and vaccinating and treating around 100.

Amongst the superheroes of our team, we were gracious to have our former Princesses Purnika Shah , Kritika Shah and the royal family Smita Singha as chief guests to help, inspire and push forward this event to a joyous ending. It was honor for our organization to have The Royal Family by our side in this grand event. Her highness presence has uplifted our morale and highended our inspiration with the kind deeds for street animals. We hope that we have more chances to work with The Royal Family again in the future. Thankyou for being so kind and giving us your precious time.

And Aatmoutsarga would like to Thank the entire Royal Family personally and all the members and volunteers who has made this possible. We have long road to go and each steps counts. THANKYOU!!

BEST NEED REST
Throughout the years, our members have worked strenuously for the street animals and humanity. They actively volunteer in various kinds of campaigns like feeding campaigns, Vaccination drives, Spay camps and many others organized within our community.
This year, when we organized the DEUSI BHAILO event to raise funds to give continuity to our campaigns, and guess what? Like always, our members and volunteers made the event a huge SUCCESS.
To CELEBRATE a year-long of hard work and many such successful campaigns, we finally pushed ourselves for a team picnic to unwind from work as well as to strengthen & enjoy our bond within the team. Needless to say, it worked like magic.
We had fun singing, dancing, playing, cooking together, but most importantly talking to one another knowing each other in a different light. Even the people who described themselves as an introvert were communicating easily with other members. In the end, the picnic was a huge success refreshment program for the entire team.
So huge THANKS to all the volunteers and members of AATMOUTSARGA, for their continuous love and support to our cause.
PS: We missed the team members and volunteers who couldn’t join us. Hope to meet you guys soon.

We humans as a thoughtful being need to step up to serve these hungry souls. AATMOUSARGA have been putting light on this issue since its establishment and we have been creating waves to feed these hungry souls. Consistently, we organize the feeding programs in various cities of Nepal with the intention to put a stone in saving humanity. We come across thousands of helpless animals who are waiting for us to rescue and we have been trying our best to serve these hungry innocent animals. One of our kind animal loving soul wished to keep alive the memories of her intimate person by feeding the starving animals. Therefore. The symbolic stories behind Tihar are all very interesting, but more importantly, are very enlightening.
