Tip Of The Day : Dish Soap Is A Flea Killer ❌⁣
👉 If you find fleas on your dog and don’t have any products at hand to kill them, then bathe them with dish soap. It’s a good amateur flea killer. If that doesn’t get rid of them, then get something more heavy duty. ⁣

Did you know If you cut your dog's nail too short you can stop the bleeding by creating a paste out of water and flour.⁣

👉 The first thing you need to remember after you cut your dogs nail too short is to remain calm. You’ll know you’ve cut too far immediately, your dog will likely pull away from you and let out a yelp. If you panic you’ll make your dogs fear worse, so try to remain calm. The bleeding is going to look much worse than it actually is. The calmer you remain the calmer you can keep your dog.⁣
👉 Use a homemade mixture of flour, baking soda or cornstarch with water until it’s a thick paste then apply it to the nail with moderate pressure for a few minutes.⁣

Do you find your dog always laying under the sun 🌞 sunbathing ? It’s something all of my dogs have done and it turns out there’s a bit more to a dogs sunbathing than just a nice warm feeling. Laying in the sun feels good to our dogs, and that extra warmth does help regulate their temperature. Our dogs are also getting Vitamin D from sunbathing. Vitamin D for dogs is important for bone formation and muscle and nerve control. ⁣⁣
When humans lay out in the sun the ray’s help break down the oils in our skin that creates Vitamin D. ⁣⁣
Dogs have specific chemical on their skin that converts to Vitamin D under direct sunlight. But due to their fur Vitamin D can’t be efficiently absorbed back into their body. Vitamin D remains on their fur and gets ingested orally when they lick and groom themselves. So the next time your dog is grooming himself remember that he’s not just doing it to look pretty, he’s also getting some Vitamin D.

You have to be really careful with your dog’s when it’s getting 🌡. Hot pavement can burn your paws really quickly. Place the back of your hand 🤚 on the pavement - if you cant’t hold it more than 5 seconds it’s too hot for your dog. On really hot days consider walking your dog in the , on the grass, or wait until the sun goes down.
