Made it to a very special birthday celebration in Jamaica.
Thank you to all my wonderful customers for your support throughout 2022, (especially over the last quarter when the schedule disintegrated because of the hurricanes, holidays and my bereavement).
Due to increased operating costs, it has become necessary to increase prices. Starting Jan 2023, the bands will be:
Band A: $60
Band B: $80
Band C: $110
Band D:$135
Band E: $165
Band F: $220
Many of you have expressed an interest in regular recurring appointments. Please note the price changes and let me know if you would like to change the frequency of your appointments.
Thanks again for your support and wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
The birthday girl.🥳
Natural antidepressant!
didn't damage the vehicle! 🎉🎊 . Will be reaching out soon to reschedule all affected by cancellations over the last 2 weeks.
To all my valued customers, I have had a few calendar challenges this month due to the 2 public holidays and a family illness. I am trying to fit in everyone who was canceled and reschedule the next grooming appointments for my regulars. This means that for the time being, I have to pause accepting new clients. I will be contacting my regular clients for confirmations, and to inform you if I'd had to make a change to your regular cycle of appointments. Thank you for your understanding. Dog people are the best!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms....human and animal❤️
A new look for spring!
Haven't been posting much lately but this was too cute not to share 😍🐶
At the end of each day the mobile shop is inspected for possible stowaways. Once it is poodle approved, end of day cleaning can commence! 😂🐩
Mobile grooming shop has been big dog tested and approved!
Had to get a haircut for my brother's birthday...so unfair!😂
"I got shaved down!😢 Dr. E said she camouflaged it, but I'm not sure"
I'm still getting used to grooming but I'll put up with it so I can look cute!
"I'll do anything, just give me the treat!"
"Give me the treat Dr E." Some dogs are more food motivated than others 😆
I'm just a puppy...a really big puppy and my mom has made sure I grow accustomed to grooming early in life. I think grooming is a fun game where I get lots of attention so I am really good for Dr. E.
When you groom them regularly, you love them like your own. Goodbye sweet girl Nala. You will always be remembered❤🖤💔🌈
Merry Christmas all. Enjoy the day with the ones you love. It doesn't matter if you didn't finish everything and you're not perfectly groomed. The day is here, the weather is glorious and you are here.
the joy
Someone is all grown up now and sits nicely for his before and after pics😍
Cockalier beauty. I forgot to take a before pic but he's too cute not to post.😍
Genetics isn't always predictable...cuckapoo!
I can see again! Thank you Dr E. 😁
Another puppy's first groom, even settled down to let me dry her...with a little encouragement in the form of treats!
A puppy's first groom is always unpredictable. You never know how long they will behave, if at all. This little boy was a super star!
Happy customer 😍
Still talking about nails.
If you choose to use a nail grinder, and there are plenty to choose from, here are a few tips to make things go smoother.
1. Look up the anatomy of the nail. If this step is too much trouble, stop. Sell your nail grinder and call your groomer or vet to have your dog's nails trimmed😁
2. Either trim the hair from around the nails or wet the hair to clearly visualize the nails. If you catch the hair you'll set you and your dog back.
3. Remember that friction produces HEAT🔥! Don't just blissfully grind away. Keep the grinder on the nails for only 5 seconds at a time.
4. Stay calm and confident and your dog will be calm. Be nervous and your dog will be nervous!
5. Don't push to shorten them too much in one session no matter how long they are. Slow and steady is the key to safety. Have quikstop on hand but aim to NEVER need it.
Let's talk nails....Some dogs don't care, some don't like clippers but will tolerate the dremel (and vice-versa), and others require sneak attacks! You can help your groomer by handling your dog's paws often, even if you don't actually clip the nails. Even just tapping the nails with nail clippers every now and then helps to let them know their nails can be touched without anything bad happening.
