Here is the first female arizonensis to mature. This one was promised to a friend months ago, so she isn't one of my breeder ladies. One of mine is in molt now, but I never got a good enough look to see is she was sub adult or not. My other female is a sub adult now, and the male I got just matured and is stunning. He has the beautiful white banding that my ladies brother doesn't have

Good morning everyone! My male arizonensis is in premolt to mature and one of my females molted recently and I suspect she is sub adult. Maybe 2 more molts left at most. I can't see her epigynum area well enough to see if anything is forming yet. I need to find my jewelers loop and get a good look. Here's a picture of a thankfully non breeder male who matured recently and somehow lost both pedipalps. Has anyone else experienced that before? This was a first for me and I've raised many species

All the remaining Texanus are off to their new home today. I've never sent them all out at the same time, so this is a bittersweet goodbye. I have my keepers and a couple "rejects", then my arizonensis as well. The "rejects" are just mismolts that are missing a couple legs. Nothing actually wrong with them, but I'd prefer to hang onto them until everything is grown back well

Good afternoon everyone. My phidippus texanus are all officially paid for so there is no longer any availability. They should be shipping out next week. Keep your eye on the page in the future. I'm trying to snag a sub adult Phidippus Arizonensis so I can breed the ones I have here. Mine are all siblings so I have to get an unrelated mate from another breeder. This is the species I've been wanting to work with for awhile now and I'm really hoping it happens!

Hey everyone, I wanted to pop in for an update! I'm finally going to have some uns*xed i6 phidippus texanus available! Pictured is one of the ones that will be posted so you can see overall size. They are still eating hydei fruitflies. I personally use golden hydei, but any hydei you choose is fine. I'd also recommend that you supervise and safely try to get them going on xs mealworms no bigger than 1/4. I try here and there, but there hasn't been much interest yet. This species resembles phidippus audax size wise. There will only be a limited few that are ready to be posted here and with the hot summer they will only be available for local pick up at this time in Springfield Massachusetts. I'll post 💰 info in the comments so to not draw attention from FB. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

This is a sign the little texanus are getting ready to go to new homes. This is the first that's taken a baby mealworm. Not including the one my daughter has already claimed 😆 Eating something other than hydei flies makes me happy

This may be the first sub adult male texanus. It just molted yesterday, so I'm going to fatten it up and see if I can get better pictures to confirm. This species can't be s*xed until they reach sub adult. Males maturing at a younger instar means they will be first to be able to s*x before going to new homes. Anything else will go uns*xed with this clutch. This one is i6, and this is an age I'm comfortable to start sending them off. Once I have some that are fat and happy I'll give everyone a heads up to the date I'll start listing them.

Little video of my i7 arizonensis. I'm going to love watching the little ones in the new clutch catch up. Excuse my commentary, but for the first time in all the slings I've raised I actually felt it's chelicerae on me and it caught me by surprise
