Hi everyone! Due to so many inconsistencies, moving forward I will need all the required vaccinations that are on the requirements page of my website in order to apply on your behalf! Some permits are being approved and others are being required to add some vaccinations to be approved even though they might both have the same vaccinations submitted. In order to serve everyone better I have come to the conclusion that it's better to submit all the requirements until I can get some clear instructions from the top.
People traveling from the US and Canada are in countries considered low risk and will refer to the first requirements on the list. High risk countries you may have to search to see if your country falls in that category, will refer to the second part of the requirements.
I'm sorry if this makes it more difficult for anyone but it will save you some headache if they reject your permit until you meet the requirements or provide whatever extra documents they request.
Those of you that know me know that I will do everything I can to make this process as easy as possible for everyone.
Contact me if you have any questions and phone is always the easiest. If you don't get me the first time try again a little later in case I was busy and didn't get back to you.
Thank you all for your patience as we work to simplify this process for you. FYI my website is under some minor edits that will make reapplying very easy in the future as low as selecting about three things to reapply but stay tuned as it could be implemented as early as this week.

Hi everyone, a few things to mention here. Some of you may be waiting on an email response from me that may seem to be taking longer than usual and I want to apologize for any delays as there were some things that came up with processing permits from last week and it created some delays. Some permits took up to a week to get and some took 1 day but things are clearing up now. Always check your spam mail as I answer many times and it goes to spam and you never see it till much later.
IMPORTANT!!! There is now a form for the vet to fill out and it will be sent with all permits when issued. You no longer have to ask for a health certificate as this will be the required form. Thank you all for staying in touch and sharing this for others that need it.

UPDATE!!! Hi everyone, as expected the vaccinations are now required to be submitted in order to have your permit processed as of yesterday the 4th of November 2024. If you applied with me already and did not submit the vaccinations chances are you already received an email from me requesting the vaccinations. Check your email especially your spam to see if you received an email from me and or just email me the vaccination list if you haven't already.
Also PLEASE, if you have applied with me, ALWAYS check your SPAM mail to see if you got a response from me. Very often I've responded and people sometimes never see it till much later.
There are some small changes to be made on my website so please bear with me as I try to keep you well informed and process your applications in a timely manner at the same time.
Remember I am here for you so call me, text me or email me if you need to! If one takes long to you, try another but I am available even if just for questions!

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if this information was posted but permits are valid for 6 months now and not 1 year anymore. I am still learning the new process but it seems that the future or extra permits are dated based on the date of the future trip and not the first trip.
Basically the 6 months may not start at the time of issue but at the time of the intended date of travel. Although this hasn't been confirmed, the permits received are showing this. Stay tuned for confirmation and further updates!

Great news! Bahamas Pet Permit is now taking applications again! Some permits were submitted today with little issues with the new system and are expected to be ready within a day or two. You can apply through my website if you wish to use my service but to be transparent, the new system is available to anyone who wishes to try on their own. It uses the click to clear platform so you'll need to sign up which takes about a day or two to be approved. If not I'm more than happy to assist through my website.
My application order has been updated to match the current requirements but my website still shows some old information which should be corrected soon. Feel free to reach out for any information needed!

Hi everyone. I'm still trying to get more information on the new system which is launching next week and how it's going to affect your travel. Here's what is known so far. The price will go up but not by a large margin however the price will be the same for every visit. Those traveling with multiple pets at the same time will pay one fee per visit so it saves you money.
Microchip will once again become mandatory but as for the other requirements, that's still unknown to me. I've requested this information on a few occasions and expect to have that very soon as they are working overtime to get this ready to launch.
The department of agriculture will no longer be the government department processing permits so tomorrow at 3 will be the cut off time for all permits being processed at their office. After this all permits will be processed through the new system next week so please share this and stay tuned for more updates this week as we get closer to the launch date. Unfortunately I have to wait to have access to the new system before I can upgrade my website accordingly!

Important!!! Hi everyone! Please stay tuned to this page for upcoming updates as the permit process is about to change in multiple ways! As we learn more about the changes made by the government of the Bahamas we will then update everyone accordingly! Please share to help others be aware.
I want to add that as always, we will do our best to make sure that the changes are beneficial to you as much as possible!
