People love to say paying for a purebred dog guarantees proper care. Today proved that’s a lie. 🤥

A Husky was dumped in San Ignacio and STONED to keep him away from a gate. This is reportedly the second Husky thrown out like trash. 🐺💔🪨

Until the Animal Cruelty Act is enforced, some people will keep treating animals as disposable. Laws without consequences mean nothing. ⚖️🚫

The good news: the Husky is now safe in a home that actually deserves him. 🏡🐾❤️
To the person who abandoned him, your actions said everything. 🚮👎

Ace is one of the rescued pups from Refugio Duky Calliu. Since joining our pack, he’s been playful, affectionate, and enjoys being close to his people. He can be a bit protective of his food, but with guidance he continues to improve. Overall, he’s a loving young dog with great potential.

Ace is not yet neutered, and adopters must agree to complete the procedure.

This Christmas, instead of buying a puppy, open your heart and give Ace a chance at a forever home. If you’re unable to adopt, donations of food, toys, or supplies are always appreciated and help us continue our work.

Hi everyone we are need of any support to be able to get some of our girls spayed before they come in to heat. We greatly appreciate your support. We are continue tk try to helpmwhonwe can but it is also getting hard to keep.up with food for them as they are very good at eating as much as possible. Of anyone can help we great appreciate it.

Today, we welcomed two female dogs into our care:
• A black female who appears to have a severe spinal injury. Possibly a broken back. We are deeply concerned about her condition and the pain she may be in.
• A brown and white girl who seemed frightened by the thunderstorm. It’s likely she ran in fear and injured her leg. Thankfully, she is otherwise alert and stable.

Despite our best efforts, we have not yet been able to reach a veterinarian for emergency care. This situation is weighing heavily on us, especially as the black girl’s suffering could worsen without immediate medical attention.
We are urgently appealing to our community:
If you are able to donate in any way, whether it's food, medications, contributions toward veterinary costs, or any form of support we would be deeply grateful.
