Please keep a lookout for this sweet boy in San Pedro/San Pedrito area

**LOST CAT: SYLVESTER - $300 REWARD**
Our Sylvester has been missing since Saturday, March 22nd, around 7 AM. He accidentally escaped from our home and has not been seen since. Sylvester is not the type of cat to roam outside; we adopted him from Saga Humane Society, and he is very domesticated. Sylvester is 3.5 years old and weighs 11.5 lbs. We miss our big baby cat dearly. He was last seen in our neighborhood in San Pedrito, wearing a blue-collar. We urgently ask for your assistance in bringing Sylvester back home. Is there anyone today through Sunday that is going from San Pedro to Belize City and can take her to her new family? Or Rita will pay for a round-trip ferry ticket if someone’s willing to transport her.

💯 One time doing TNR here there was a guy feeding stray cats on his property. I asked if I could TNR them and he said yes but not the males. I asked why and he said the females are ones who get pregnant and that it would be cruel to neuter a male because it wouldn’t be able to have s*x anymore 🤦‍♀️ I politely educated him of the instincts and traits of mating for cats and that they are different than ours. Thankfully he trusted me and the process and when I went back to check on them a few weeks later he said not only were they all getting along better, but that he got no complaints from the males about missing out on ‘hooking up’ 😻

Men, this post is going to be blunt. Your male dogs testicles...are not YOUR testicles! It's okay to neuter your male dog! Spot won't mind. Spot won't miss them. The only one missing those dog testicles...is you!

We will NEVER get the Corozal pet population under control if we don't spay and neuter our pets. There is NO joy in seeing dogs suffering on the streets. There is no joy in seeing puppies die because they weren't properly cared for due to lack of money. There is no joy...in seeing so many unloved dogs wandering the streets of Corozal.

It's okay to not have those testicles...it's truly an act of love!

Anyone in the DFC area know these dogs? I was taking some people home tonight in the rain going through some huge water holes and these two dogs jumped on my cart and wouldn’t leave. I drove back to the area three times that they hopped on from and they would not get off my cart.
One has a collar and has some training so I think it has a home but I also pulled about 12 ticks just off its head and ears. The black one seems maybe to be a stray but seems to know the other dog and that’s why it came on my cart. It’s actually a lot more mellow and less ticks and fleas than the other one.
Please share this so we can find the owners and get them inside their home before this major part of the storm hits even more. Until then, they will stay safe in my home and then I will take them to Saga on Monday.
