Sometimes you gotta just have some fun. Got to figure out how good Hailey actually can be with her feet. Not to shabby either 🤗💪

Funs over and time to back to training horses. Starting next week we are back to our regular schedule

So I have a problem with collecting bits... I like trying out different ones and seeing how different horses respond to them.

So obviously trying out a hackmore fit in lol. Still loving Hailey's new set up. Just needing a headstall with a browband now, cause I also just like trying out different tack, which lead to me finding that my horses like single ear piece headstalls vs the browband because they get less sweaty and ichy.

Yesterday was the first time she went flat out gallop and enjoyed it, didn't pin her ears once. Super happy with the results

Short training session with Hershey, it was more of just getting her trimmed... hopefully I can get back on her soon.

I'm super into bits... I love trying new ones and seeing how each works. But for Hailey nothing seemed to get it for her.

A few weeks ago I saw her yawning and it all made sense. Her tongue has been cut in the past, leaving possibly little to no feeling in the end of it.

I got on FB and found this hackamore... got it shipped here and finally got to try it out.

It's amazing the difference, she's so much more responsive to pressure and much happier.
