FURever Home Dog Behavior Correction/Modification Professional Many behavioral issues can be corrected with the right knowledge, patience and love. No dog is too much for us.

FURever Home help owners correct behavioral issues that, many times, gets a dog turned into a shelter, returned to the rescue group, abandoned, and sometimes worse, abused. We work with all ages, sizes and breed of dogs but we specialize in large powerful dogs such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Great Danes, etc. We also do obedience training. ect the underlying issue rather than just provide a "band-aid" solution (i.e. shaking pennies in can; squirting in the face with water, etc.). We travel to you. We've gone as far as Bryan, Texas to help. We regularly travel to locations such as Pearland, Katy and Fulshear. It is important to work with a pack in their normal environment. FURever Home is NOT a rescue organization, but we work with many Houston, Texas area rescue organizations to provide behavioral evaluations and help fosters correct behavioral issues so dogs can be placed in their FURever Home. We also help in the adoption process from interviewing potential adopters, doing home checks and meet-and-greets. FURever Home does NOT have a board and train program. We strongly believe that owner and dog should work as a team to correct behavioral issues and command training. Working together helps to develop the owner-dog bond. We do hold group classes occasionally but our primary focus is one-on-one personal instruction in the safety and comfort of your home. FURever Home also provides nutritional consultations, and we make our own treats that are grain and gluten free, as well as made from human grade ingredients. All our treats are made locally and personally by FURever Home.

Last night we received an urgent request for funds to help this poor Cleveland dog who had been run over by a car and left for dead. We gladly offered to pay $2,500 towards her emergency care. The sweet girl, now named Lexy, is receiving treatment for her horrific injuries at Vergi. We know that means she's safe and on the road to recovery. In order to continue funding emergency cases like Lexy, we need the support of our friends more than ever. Please consider donating $5 or $10, every little bit ensures we can support our community.

Firu (now known as Peru) went and saw our friends at Columbus Animal Clinic, PLLC for his check up on his eye and to get set up with vaccines and heartworm test.

Shockingly (not), he is heartworm positive. We alread expected this as his previous family kept him as an outside only dog. Heartworm treatment protocol keeps animals in foster care for 4 months before starting the process of looking for a home. Not only is heartworms hard on the health of an animal but treating it is timely, costly, and risky. Let this be your reminder to give your Heartworm prevention to your pet today.

Other than the heartworms, Peru is a healthy boy and his eye is healed nicely! He will start his doxy and some dewormer and prep for heartworm treatment!

Please help this baby get to his new FURever Home

Well we have some exciting news… our boy Harley is adopted! 🎉🎉🎉

He will leave out on transport on Thursday!

This guy spent a year with Fort Bend County Pets - Fort Bend County Animal Services and we learned today that his microchip originated with Houston Humane Society in 2021. Harley has been passed around a lot in his life. He’s now a senior and we hope to make this the final bounce to a forever home! Where he can be loved, cherished, and spend his golden years in a stable and loving environment!

We need $250 to cover his transport costs and health cert. if anyone would like to pitch in we would be so grateful!

🚨 EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED 🚨

Jack Daniels is one of our OG forever fosters. He’s been doing well in his foster home but over the weekend he experienced an emergency. He stopped eating and couldn’t keep water down. He is staying overnight at the vet to see what’s going on.
