FURever Home help owners correct behavioral issues that, many times, gets a dog turned into a shelter, returned to the rescue group, abandoned, and sometimes worse, abused. We work with all ages, sizes and breed of dogs but we specialize in large powerful dogs such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Great Danes, etc. We also do obedience training. FURever Home evaluates behavioral issues and works to corr
ect the underlying issue rather than just provide a "band-aid" solution (i.e. shaking pennies in can; squirting in the face with water, etc.). We travel to you. We've gone as far as Bryan, Texas to help. We regularly travel to locations such as Pearland, Katy and Fulshear. It is important to work with a pack in their normal environment. FURever Home is NOT a rescue organization, but we work with many Houston, Texas area rescue organizations to provide behavioral evaluations and help fosters correct behavioral issues so dogs can be placed in their FURever Home. We also help in the adoption process from interviewing potential adopters, doing home checks and meet-and-greets. FURever Home does NOT have a board and train program. We strongly believe that owner and dog should work as a team to correct behavioral issues and command training. Working together helps to develop the owner-dog bond. We do hold group classes occasionally but our primary focus is one-on-one personal instruction in the safety and comfort of your home. FURever Home also provides nutritional consultations, and we make our own treats that are grain and gluten free, as well as made from human grade ingredients. All our treats are made locally and personally by FURever Home.
